I bought this ice maker because I was tired of constantly filling up Ice trays everyday and wanted to get some space back in my freezer. The instructions say to move Ice from the container to your freezer but honestly I just keep it all in the maker and leave it running all day, letting it melt and then make more when the level goes below full. Currently this works for me just fine, sometimes the Ice sticks together but I just use the scooper that comes with the machine to break it apart pretty easily. I don't notice much of a difference in the small and large size bullets, but that doesn't matter much to me. The app is also extremely convenient since I can set a schedule to have my Ice start at a certain time everyday before I wake up to make sure I have Ice ready for my morning coffees, as well as sending notifications letting me know when it is full and/or water is running low. You can also set it so it stops making ice a certain time everyday as well. It takes about an hour to and hour and a half to completely fill with ice (approximately 6 per 10 minutes). Would recommend to anyone that frequently uses ice throughout the day as it doesn't take long to make enough for what you need.

In January, 2022 I purchased the Crownful Portable Countertop Nugget Ice Maker Machine and paid over $400.00 for it. I spent hours researching the various ice makers for sale. I was specifically looking for ice makers that made the Sonic type ice. I chose the Crownful model for this reason despite the cost. In the 9 months I’ve used the ice maker I had no problems and enjoyed the convenience. But today died. It didn’t even work a full year. Money wasted. I thought at this selling price point the ice maker would have at least a year. The period for returns has expired. There is no easy to contact the company since you can only left emails and get no response. After cleaning the unit the defrost and the clean button continuously flashing together. I unplugged the unit, waited a few minutes and restarted it again, same problem..no ice. I followed all the troubleshooting tips the company suggested and it still working. Selling for over $400.00 I guess I was expecting a long working unit. I will not buy nor suggest this ice maker for anyone to purchase. UPDATE: This company’s customer service department is superb in their follow up and correcting those problems a customer may have. The customer service department responded by sending me a whole new ice machine to replace the defective one that failed. I can only say great things about them from their initial contact, to their communication, to the final end by replacing the unit. I think all companies should have a customer relation department operating and responsive as this company. I will continue to look for and purchase other products from this company in the future. They stand by their promise of commitment and service.

My family absolutely loves this ice nugget machine. I’ve searched for years for an ice machine of this type and read 1000s of reviews before purchasing. This little gem makes the perfect ice for any beverage for “ice queens” such as myself. Perfect texture, softness, shape and taste. You can hook this ice machine directly into your water line or fill it manually to make ice as your needs require. We leave it plugged in 24/7, and we have ice 24/7. Filling w/ water takes about 10 cups of water for 3lbs of mouthwatering Sonic-style ice. The neatest thing about this machine is you don’t have to hook directly into a water line, but the hoses are included should you ever change your mind. You can manually fill w/ water still have ice 24/7. We use filtered tap water and the ice is refreshingly tasty and odorless. The ice stays frozen in the “bucket” throughout the night and there is plenty to use in the am. Once the door to the machine is opened, it automatically starts making ice w/ the ice that melted overnight or the water in the reservoir. It will automatically shut off once the sensor senses the bin is full. The ice remains fluffy, soft and the perfect texture regardless of when you use the ice. The ice machine has a slight hum while working, but nothing obnoxious or obtrusive. I’ll gladly listen to this little gem purr while it churns out those oh so wonderful frozen nibs of ice! This machine is a perfect 10 for our needs and a much welcomed addition! As an “ice queen” this machine is royally the best money can buy!
