Took it on a flight, in a checked bag. Arrived to and fro, perfectly fine. I traveled with it, in the box it came in. I wanted the fridge, not sure about the heating part, so I can't comment on that. It kept my food cold, as a fridge should. It's small enough and light to travel with. And it's so cute. I loved my fridge. I've had the same mini fridge (from another brand) for three years in my office, and it finally gave out a few months ago. It was my first fridge of this type (6 can). In researching replacements, I settled on this option. It has been excellent! It does a better job of cooling than my other one and I love that the door seals magnetically. That was a minor issue on my previous fridge, I never felt like it was completely closed. Another issue with my previous fridge was that it constantly had water inside of it, I guess from frost that formed and then melted. This one cools quickly and doesn't have water in it ever which is perfect. I've only had it about four months, so I'm not sure about long term durability, but it has been perfect so far and is very quiet. Highly recommended. ... show more

I'm a tour musician, so I'm in a different city every week. I bought this fridge because sometimes we get hotels without refrigerators, or with broken refrigerators. Imagine being expected to go 1-2 weeks without refrigerating any food! This tiny fridge has been a lifesaver. It weighs between 4-5 pounds, so I was easily able to make room for it in my luggage. Within the first half hour of plugging it in it gets below 40F, and within the next half hour it gets to between 32-34F and maintains that for all time. If you use the little included shelf there is less space; removing it frees up another inch or so (see pics). I mainly use it for storing proteins when we don't have refrigerators, or as extra space when we have extra-tiny minifridges. I haven't had cause to use the heating element yet, but I'm sure it also works well. Overall this makeup fridge has been well worth the money for me, and I'd recommend it to anyone! ... show more

I used this instead of a cooler on my road trip to keep a few food items cold. (Not a lot of room.) Well, it worked so well it froze everything. I’m sure with it being so small it was bound to happen if used for to long. I like it because it was a plug in. I will continue to use it.

The compressor in my 9-month old expensive refrigerator broke 4 days ago so have been totally without the use of my fridge and freezer !!! And it will probably be at least 2 more weeks before it is fixed !!! Ugh !!! Tried the ice-in-a-cooler routine, which did nothing but make a mess. Then I decided to look for a small mini fridge !! I was impressed with the reviews, so I took a chance. Got it overnight with delivery at 8:00 this morning !!! I LOVE IT SO MUCH I IMMEDIATELY ORDERED ANOTHER ONE WHICH WAS JUST DELIVERED AT 8:30 THIS EVENING !!! It is small so having 2 while waiting for my refrigerator to be fixed gives me more flexibility. Right now I have apples in one and the other has a cooked Turkey burger, cooked green peas, 2 packages of raw sugar snap peas, and a loaf of my frozen brown rice bread that can be just in a refrigerator not frozen anymore. I am feeling so much more relaxed now and not stressing out about not having a refrigerator for so long until it gets fixed !!! I love this mini fridge. I wanted something portable that I could use in my classroom and on road-trips. I’ve put everything in this fridge including water bottles, protein drinks, string cheese, mini cheese and meat containers and fruit. It holds a lot more than you think it might hold. I take the little shelf out most of the time which allows you to add more things. It keeps everything as cold as if you just got it out of your fridge in your kitchen. I also love that you can plug it into your car for road trips, then very easily take it into your hotel room and plug it in. I haven’t tried it as a heater yet, but that isn’t what I bought it for. I’ve had it now for 8 months and keep it plugged in and running pretty much none stop and have not had any problems with it. I would highly recommend this cute little fridge! ... show more
