You will be able to set 6 times, for each program you select the days of the week that it will activate, then you select what time it will start and duration in minutes. That completes program 1. You have 6 programs total. I think it deserves 3.5 stars because it is more advanced then a simple single program timer. Here are the cons Display is somewhat blurry at most angles. Hours are only in 24 hour format, I like the am pm format better. The programming menu does not feel intuative at all comapred to knob turning type I have. Pros Rain sensor can be enabled disabled Manual override to enable water with duration Seems to be well made If they could polish out the menu, improve the screen clarity, add 12 hour format they would have a real winner. If I was buying again I'd be looking to get something different Also it seems at the weight of this item it should have a swiveled adjustable arm at the back to brace it against the house to support the weight.

Having 6 programmes is a win for my misthouse - I can have the misting come on every 10 minutes. Trying to get it to fit South African taps was a challenge, but we got there and its working perfectly. Highly recommended.

This water timer is super easy to set up. You set the current time. Set it for when to turn on. Set it for how long you want it to run. Set how often you want it to turn the water on. Then turn the dial to ON and you're done. If you need to turn the water on manually, you just press the manual button and select how long you want it on. If you're done with the water before the time is up, you can press the manual button again to turn it off.

I bought one of these timers and it failed within a few weeks. I took a month or so to try to get it replaced under warranty. I sent a message with the required information to the email address provided on Amazon but have not had any reply, it's been more than a week. I had a problem with an orbit timer I purchased at the same time (I wanted to compare the 2 brands for future decision making) and they were easy to contact and resolved the issue within 10 Min. I won't be buying any more of these.

I needed a water timer for our drought conditions in which we are allowed to water on our trash pick-up days, Monday and Thursday. This timer allows you to select one or more days of the week to accomplish this. What the instructions do not tell you is that you need to select (or deselect) each day of the week Sun-Sat BEFORE it allows you to set the START TIME and duration (up to only 99 min 59 sec). Once you have set each day ON or OFF with ^ indicating the days you want it to turn ON, then the 'ON' will flash and allow you to set the time it will start on those days. This is the P1 program of the six available. I wanted to water for 2 hours so I created another P2 program on the same days right after the 100 minutes allowed on the P1 that added 20 more minutes in P2. Waiting to see if that does it. Also be aware this is a 24 hour timer and so is the clock, which I had set to 12 hour time at first. You can also create, like most cheap timers, the ability for it to turn on in cycles of time, which I have not tried to set, so that it would turn on every so many hours or days over and over. It says something about 15 maximum days that I think means the maximum times you can set the timer to turn on in the six programs, but not sure about that either. So it takes some work to get what you want, but if it lasts should be able to help. ADDENDUM: The first night of the program the timer did not start. I could not figure out why at the faucet and brought it inside where I triple checked everything to no avail. I finally took out the batteries and started completely over, but setting the time correctly for the 24 hour clock this time, and then setting the two days and two programs per day. I had set the time wrong and later realized the error and changed it before the first use. Apparently that messes it up. After reinstalling it on the faucet the timer workers as desired. I do note that the water shuts of after the first program runs and then right back on for the second program of 20 minutes, doing the job of a full 2 hours like I wanted.
