I love the candy apple red color! It screams vintage and Coca Cola, and all things fun from the 60s. It compliments my red KitchenAid mixer beautifully. But it's more than the color and style that I love. I'm a serious fermenter, ridiculously so, and was tired of having to hunt through things in my regular refrigerator to find my healthy chow. I needed to organize, and this 'little guy' filled the bill. The movable shelves have a drop edge on the back edge that prevents slippage, and the glass is classy. Someone complained about all the plastic, but have you ever seen a glass vegetable crisper and door shelves? So there's no more plastic in this mini fridge than any other refrigerator. Additionally, there are endless options to move your shelves until you get exactly what you want. I really thought I was going to have limitations by using the door shelves. Not so! The door shelves were already provided for with an inset on the main body of the fridge. I was floored! I use half gallon, quart, and pint Mason jars, plus I make a ton of homemade yogurt using the small eight oz. capped jars, then there are the bigger overnight oat jars, and the kombucha, water kefir, and juice bottles of every size and shape. Well this beautiful unit provides more than enough room to adequately fulfill my fermenting needs. I can provide room for six half gallon mason jars, two quart jars, two pints, 27 kombuchas/juice/water bottles, 10 yogurt jars, 6 overnight oat containers, with room to spare for smaller snack jars and a jug of sprouts. If I were to stack I could cram in even more. The whole point is now I have all of my ferments in one compact and easily accessible mini fridge. I also love the manual temp adjust. The unit cools very quickly, is super quiet, and there is zero water residual due to a catchall in the back by the compressor that dries it out immediately. No annual defrost as no freezer. Add it's dynamic retro design, and it's amazing. As for downfalls, yes, this is all China. Yes, they do need to pack it better, especially something between the front door and the box besides a plastic bag. There was one teensy fingernail-sized dent, barely visible with the tiniest scratch on the door. I discovered that a standard red sharpie matches the color perfectly, did a few tiny dabs and Wallah! No longer visible. Despite the claim that the door is plastic, it is not. My husband works on jumbo jets and the door is aluminum, which is why it dents so easily. Plastic would crack, not dent. Some people simply hate plastic. Me, I take into consideration both the big and little picture. I've tried other 'mini' fridges and hated them...literally. This one I set up completely by myself without the hub's assistance, leveled it, wiped it all down, gave it the full six hour rest, and this beauty came to life ready to make me smile every single morning. It's a solid strong unit, the shelves are very durable (both the glass and the plastic door shelves), and the handle doesn't budge or feel flimsy despite being made from a thick, dense, compact material that some may consider cheap because it's not metal. I prefer the lighter weight material and it looks awesome with so much detail. So I love it, I know it will last, and I'm confident it's a quality mini-fridge. I would recommend it. But I do understand the complaints about the lack of better packing and the front door dents. China needs to put out that additional five cents worth of Styrofoam and pack it around the front door. Yes, UPS is a nightmare and I had an inch of dust to remove after taking the refrigerator out of the box, but they, too, have their limitations. Does the hub like it? Absolutely! He takes his lunches out of it every day before heading off to work. How do YOU spell ADORABLE? It's this fridge!!! Love, love, LOVE IT! ... show more

This retro Crosley refrigerator has a nice red steel painted finish and a matching injection molded plastic door. It has what appears to be stainless steel hinges. It has a nine LED light bar to illuminate the contents of the refrigerator. It also has two chrome edged glass shelves that are adjustable to the 10 available slots. The lower half shelf has two settings which would require the pull out bin to be removed. the door has three compartments as well. They are deep enough for large bottles or cans, but not large enough for a bottle of wine. Power consumption is nominal at 52W. It is very quiet, as I could probably sleep next to it. It’s a great looking refrigerator that although it doesn’t have a freezer compartment. It would be perfect for a home office, office, small break room or dorm room to keep drinks and your lunch cold. ... show more

This is an amazing Mini-Fridge! The Retro Old School looks along with Crosley Energy Saving Performance make this the best Mini-Fridge that I have ever owned. We use the Mini-Fridge in the shop when we are home and in the RV when we are on the road. The Crosley Fridge has multiple settings for temperature control and maintains a constant Temperature without drawing a ton of current. Crosley is a leader in energy savings, their Mini-Fridge is very efficient. We power our Battery Banks with Solar when off grid, having this mini fridge has taken a lot of stress off of our system, out performing the Mini-Fridge it replaced. We both enjoy the Old Coke Color Scheme that is the bow on the package! I gave the Crosley Retro Mini Fridge a Full Five Star Rating Across the Board. It looks Great, Affordable, Durable, Dependable, Efficient, and keeps everything nice and cold. ... show more

UPDATE: So far, this little fridge seems to be holding a temp of about 40F at BARELY turned on from 0 on the small control dial. This works for me to keep my fresh, washed eggs for sale! First, I don't understand WHY anyone still uses UPS.... There are several surface scuffs & scratches as well as a foot that was bent due to the way they abuse packages of this nature. If not for the plastic bands, the scant foam & fridge would have exited the box entirely. (-1.5star) Second, the listing clearly states the door material to be steel. It is not -perhaps the inner core is, but the exterior of the door on this fridge is just molded plastic. (-1.5star) The outer body of the actual fridge is metal, however. Not surprising, the handle is also plastic, but feels like it will still be strong & hold up to use fairly well. Nice glass shelves, and a small drawer at the bottom. As for performance, temperature, etc we have setup & plugged in this fridge. It kicked on right away, and we'll test it after a few hours. If it works, it will make a wonderful and cute way to store refrigerated farm fresh eggs without filling up the regular kitchen fridge. ... show more

I've always wanted a retro style fridge, although my ideal was a mint green or a pink one, but since this ended up being a good deal when I got it, I'm going to settle for the red. It is an extremely pretty fridge I love the design! I think one day I might go out of my way to get a freezer to kind of compliment it a bit better, and get rid of my main fridge because this fridge is more than enough space for the amount of groceries I usually get that need to be refrigerated. It stays pretty cool, and the back has a bit of ice on it but this might just mean I need to adjust the temperature of it. The handle is a bit of a pain to get on properly, but I got it on. I'm disappointed by the fact the handle is plastic instead of metal though, I just like the feel of metal better than plastic. The main issue that I have that I'm just going to live with, is the bottom drawer does have some scuffs on it, and it's not tape residue. ... show more

This is a great looking mini fridge that is perfect for my office. (I have a soda addiction). It is a little bigger than I thought. But still small. It isn’t noisy when the compressor is running. It cools quickly and the temperature control gives you 8 options for where you want the temp. Overall, it is a great fridge, nice quality, and good options for what you get. I have had a lot of mini fridges over the years and this is the best looking one. Gives you a retro feel, like old coke machines. It is more expensive than the cheap Walmart options, but much better quality for what you get. I would definitely recommend this for someone looking to upgrade their mini fridge! ... show more
