    • Genuinely Horrible Product Design
ASUS ROG really needs to start hiring better people for their product team. I purchased this monitor to have a high-performance gaming monitor that I can use with my work laptop and gaming desktop. This is an extremely common usecase, and is the entire reason KVMs are popular on these models. This monitor forces you to setup Google TV, which is pointless becuase anyone spending this much on a monitor already has a PC and / or laptop they'll be using the monitor with, so there's no point in adding glitchy, slow Google TV software; I'll just open Netflix on my computer. On top of that, it's basically impossible to smoothly change monitor settings, and it switches randomly between the Google OS and the onboard OSD you typically see on ASUS monitors, sometimes not registering inputs unless you use the provided controller. It's a genuinely awful user experience. This monitor has a "KVM" with USB-C that lets you connect and power a laptop, but doesn't provide a USB-A downstream cable so you CANNOT use this monitor to switch your keyboard and mouse setup between a laptop and a desktop (the obvious usecase). Every other monitor I have ever tried (dozens of them) that had KVMs allowed you to switch between two computers, because hundreds of thousands of people use one computer for work, and one for personal matters and gaming. The cherry on top is that the speakers don't work on the unit I received. The 240hz OLED panel looks good, but I can get a $650 MSI monitor that does that, has a fully functional KVM, and has a fully functional OSD. ASUS, get it together. ... show more

AR Tech USA was the absolute thieves of a company who sent me a damaged monitor, did not provide an Amazon return label, I had to pay $114 to return the monitor, and then they charged me 15% to restock it denied that it was damaged, and they refused to refund me for shipping it back. Was excited to get this product but the Google TV didn't work and none of my streaming like Netflix, Disney Plus, HBO Max, peacock didn't work. YouTube and web browser worked on Google TV but wouldn't let any time of movie files stream on Android TV 14 OS. Worked fine as a Monitor but the other half of the product aka Google TV doesn't work. ... show more
