Easy to use, very intuitive. No time for a switch when you really need it. This one responds to grip of your middle finger. They fit the Taurus 85 so I guess I have one of the older ones. Heard there were fit problems with newer guns but with a few minutes of figuring and studying they fit fine. There is a slight impingement of the laser beam to the cylinder, and that casts a tiny separate spot. But it works and that's all I care. If it were any worse I would have returned the sight. With the cylinder swung open the beam is perfect. It's so close another grip may not do that at all. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. It’s not cheap, but Amazon is the best price I could find and I looked because I’m cheap. The grips are an improvement because they let my fourth finger have something to wrap around. The instant-on feature when I grasp the pistol is what I needed and was looking for for my home defense weapon. If you can afford it I highly recommend it. The grips look hearty, they adjusted easily with the provided mini Allen wrench, and all in all I am very satisfied. ... show more

I’m not one to write reviews however I felt the need to provide information. I own a Taurus 941 22 magnum revolver. I have had it over 25 years. When searching for a laser sight I could not confirm this was the one I needed. It fit perfectly and was easy to install. It also feels good in my hand.

    • Crimson Trace LG385 Does Not Fit Taurus 2014 or Newer Small Frame Revolvers - DO NOT Waste Your Money!!!
Crimson Trace LG385 grips do not fit Taurus small frame revolvers 2014 or newer at all! Purchased LG385 Crimson Trace grips for my Taurus SS 605 and the grip slot for the stock pin at the bottom of the grip would not line up, they would not fit properly at the top and bottom of the grip, and there was a large gap between the frame (could not get attachment screws to even come close to going in). I thought I might have a set of defective grips so contacted CT customer service and was told this is a known issue for Taurus revolvers made after 2014! However, CT does not post this problem anywhere and waits for customers to buy their grips to tell them!!! The only thing customer service had to offer was a half-hearted 'I'm sorry' and I did not even get a response from the email contact form at all. CT intentionally misleads customers and then does not even stand behind their flawed product when it is a known problem - a total waste of $280. AVOID ENTIRELY as this product is defective. ... show more

This grip feels just right in the hand. I shot 500 rounds through my Taurus 85 the other day. The grip made the snub nose secure in my hand. You adjust the laser to the distance you want, in my case 30 feet, and no matter what position I discharge the weapon, it will hit within 2 or 3 inches where the red dot is shinning. Most gun fights, unfortunately, are within 5 to 20 feet, and most times less than 5 shots are fired and the threat is ended one way or another. I always hope the good guy wins that fight and their family is safe again. You will absolutely wonder why you did not do this procedure sooner. I have a S&W internal hammer revolver that can be fired at close quarters while in the pocket. It will be getting one soon. ... show more

I installed this laser grip on my Taurus CIA 650 revolver. The product was of great quality and very easy to install. I love that fact that grip allows my whole hand to now grip the firearm completely. The laser is set in a way that it grazes the cylinder making a second red dot and glare at the target site. It also illuminates the firearm which is not a desirable thing you want while wielding a weapon. If the laser was set just an eighth of an inch lower on the grip it would not be an issue. Outside of those easily overlooked disadvantages to other customers this is a great grip and deserves some kudos. ... show more

    • Pricey, but it met my expectations.
Let me start off with "Ouch" my wallet felt that one. I liked the extra length this model provided to the grip. The button to activate the laser is well located on the front of the grip, but is slightly awkward at times to press. Once adjusted we were able to consistently produce 2 1/2 inch groups using a Taurus Ultra lite 38 sp with a 2 inch barrel at a distance of 15 yards. For someone who doesn't want to use the sights, or might be in low light conditions when they need to use a gun for self defense at short range, this laser grip will do the trick. ... show more
