    • Great product for price
I inherited a lamp from a previous roommate, but he left it without a lampshade, and it was sitting in storage for forever. I tried getting a shade from Target, but everything there has a certain 'look', and it didn't fit what I had in mind. I haven't always had the best luck ordering items like this online, where it's hard to tell what you're really getting, but from the moment I opened the box, I was impressed. The seller packaged it really well - lots of padding, and the lampshade arrived undamaged. The color looked great in person - a nice dark red, not quite wine red, but like it's on its way to being that dark. It looks great with the black lamp base that I had. I didn't end up using the hardware that came with the shade to attach it - I already had that hardware from the lamp, and I wanted to keep it all black (the piece that came with the lamp was gold, or bronze colored), so I have to admit I didn't evaluate that piece in my overall assessment of the product. But, for the part I used, and for the way that it arrived and was exactly as advertised (and no bad smell, like some manufactured products), I think the seller earned five stars. ... show more

    • Gorgeous!
This exceeded my expectations. Stunning. Great quality. A modern yet antique feel. Light shines through and its just a beautiful shape. Perfect fit for my dloor lamp. But would also be great on a table lamp. Extremely happy with my purchase. Would buy again.

    • Gorgeous Shades

The shades are a beautiful rich red color and fabric. They have a satiny sheen to them and look very rich. The metal parts are all a very pretty brass looking metal. They seem well-made. I originally got the shades on the lamps shown, but loved them so much that I bought extra shades for my lamps in the living room. They look fantastic on every lamp I tried. Separately, I did find that using different bulbs does impact the color of the shade when lit. My old incandescent bulbs look the prettiest in my opinion, but I'll keep looking for LED or Halogens to replicate the incandescents' glow. That said, the 'lit' picture I've attached shows the shades with the LED bulbs, so it is still pretty and very cozy-looking in my opinion! I highly recommend these shades! ... show more

    • Absolutely stunning, high-quality lampshade!

The color on this is true to the listing, a dark crimson-red, although as can be seen from the pictures, when lit up, it is a beautiful dark orange-red. We bedazzled the lampshade with crystals to go along with the vintage lamp we bought it for. Really pleased with this high-quality lampshade. You can tell it was made by folks who take good old-fashioned pride in their work. ... show more

    • pretty, made the lamp prettier
Put this shade on each of a pair of lamps that that we wouldn't have bought but came to us out of the sky -- and made each pretty. The polycloth gives a nice, soft cherry light--but not the silk light of your grandmother's shades. Beyond that, they just sit there and give nice light; they don't whistle or do the floss. ... show more
