This was bought to prank my parents while on vacation. I put it under their bed and turned it to the cricket chirping setting”. At first they thought there was a real cricket in the house, but as it kept going off, the sound always was the same. They eventually figured out it was a prank, but we got a good laugh. Would have been better if it had several different cricket sounds that would randomly play.
