So tired of replacing wheels, tires, tubes, etc. Slowly, all of my lawn equipment is being outfitted with flat-free tires. Took about 10 minutes to replace all 4 - most of that, looking for tools. Mine had lock nuts on end of threaded shafts so re-used existing spacer and didn't need the included washers and pins, but they were in the box. Everything spins on a dime and hopefully I won't experience sun-rot anymore. Only worry from here on out is how well the bearings hold up - but that's true on any wheel. I have one more sprayer cart that I want to switch over, then everything is flat-free from there. Nothing worse than getting a cart loaded up, looking down, and finding a flat tire. I think they're making new tires and tubes out of used bubble gum!

This product works on wheel barrels with a screw axle and nut. You need to buy this because it has a flat side for the axle so you can screw it on. I made the mistake of buying the wrong one the first time and could not screw the tire in properly.

Glad I found this alternative to inner tubes. I bought a 13x5.00-6 inner tube to replace an original on my Gorilla cart. Getting the tire back on these small rims is nearly impossible without a machine unlike wheelbarrow tires which are pretty easy with just screwdrivers. Tire shops wanted $15 - $20 to put a single tire on the rim. One shop refused to even try saying their machine wouldn't go that small and they'd probably damage the rim. Note that not all Gorilla carts take 13" tires. My cart is rated at 1,200 pounds (300 per tire) and the bed measures 49" X 24". Smaller carts use smaller tires but if yours has a 5/8" axle and a 2.25" offset hub then you may be able to use these taller tires which will make moving and maneuvering the cart easier with heavy loads. You just need to have about 7" between the center of the axle and the bottom of the cart bed leaving you1" clearance between the tire and bed. I did use body/fender washers (about an 1/8" total) behind the wheel as my rims have a 2.25" offset opposed to these rims with a 2.2" offset. It would have been okay not to use the washers; it would only allow the wheel to move back and forth on the axle a small amount. These tires are about 3/4" taller than the original tires as the original tires are not a true 13".
