This lock was great for almost 6 months and now it no longer works mechanically but only doesn't work from outside handle. It still Unlocks but doesn't release the handle and latch. I used one of the three I bought at one time for almost 6 months without issue one. Now, this good for six months lock is essentially broken so I replaced it with one of the other 2 and guess what, it failed right away after turning it one time in the same way the 6 month one failed. SO... I replaced the 2nd one with the third and last one i had and it too failed after one turn of the door handle. All three of these cost me almost$300 and I'm livid. I've sent an email to the vendor I bought them from and will change this review when and if I ever hear back from them. Do not buy this lock. HORRIBLE QUALITY for a big price. Oh did I say I'm angry?? I feel robbed and taken Advantage of by these people. Plus it's late at night so I can't go buy another lock. And until I'm able to go and get one I gonna have to crawl thru my window to get in my house every time i come Back from anywhere.... So yeah, if I didn't say i was angry, I am i'm very pissed off. ... show more

I decided to get a new smart lock since I always forget my key. I did a lot of searches, there are so many different brands of smart locks and many different functions. I choose this one because it is fiction numbers, it is much more secure than the fixed numbers on the lock. Another reason is the Auto-lock. Sometimes I cannot remember whether I locked the door or not. Auto-lock would not have this kind of concern. It is very easy to install, I am so bad at combining parts, but this is very easy to install on my door. Almost every small electronic have Bluetooth nowadays, so get the Bluetooth one, it is easy to control and makes me feel secure.     • Spent Weeks Thinking We Did Something Wrong, Now We Are Out Of A Lock And Our Money
This lock was presented as an easy DIY project. We had problems from the get go. We tried effortlessly to make this lock work as we really liked it. It would not work. When we got a locksmith we were told, and shown, that the lock was defective. We thought, without checking, that the return date was a day or 2 away, and since we needed a lock for our door we paid attention to that more. We went to Lowe's and bought a lock and installed it ourselves. It worked fine. The next day we tried to do the return and discovered that the item return deadline was the day before. I explained what happened and the CS told me that they would oblige me, to which I was VERY grateful. Rules are rules. Then I got an email saying, no, we are not honoring the return. I have been trying to contact the 3rd party seller, as the CS told me to do. I cannot get in touch with them. I keep getting a message that I have to talk with Amazon CS. Then Amazon CS tells me that I have to talk with the seller, and I am being spun. I need to return the faulty lock and I would truly love if someone could help me with this refund. I know the rues. I respect the rules. I am only asking for a chance to get back what we have lost. ... show more

Easy to install, free app management, works with fab, key, fingerprints, passwords, and remote unlock. Has a doorbell, and allows master management from the app as well as allowing me to add family members, or add additional users but without family level controls. It's great. The only issue I've had was with Bluetooth pairing on an additional device, but I think that's 'user error' lol... I'll update when I figure it out... ... show more

It uses fingerprints, passwords, key cards, and keys to unlock. You can also download its app on your phone. If the family forgot to go out with the key, forget the password and other accidents. You can unlock your family members on the mobile app. It also comes with two keys, which you can use to open the door in case the above functions don't work, or if the lock is dead. The attached door card can also be given to your trusted roommate, if you don't want to bother to change the password later. You can also set the time on the mobile app, and the door lock will automatically lock to ensure the safety of your home.
