Delivered on time, came very welled packaged, just as seller described. Unit was easy installed on my Longmill cnc. This unit is way more powerful than my 7 watt. Cuts through ply, MDF, Acrylic, and pine as advertised on web site. I may buy their smaller laser just for engraving tile because this one is a little big. I have cut acrylic key chains, words for crafting, engraved plywood,cut 1/4 ply for a prayer cross. I bought the comgrow Air Assist kit to provide air assist.

Just installed this on my Falcon CR10 laser engraver (changed from 10watt setup to the K30 laser head) Definitely using the provided power supply. This unit is for DIY machine setups. The included driver board should take care of any connection you need to get this unit going. For the most part it was plug and play with my setup as far as wiring goes. My challenge was mounting the sliding bracket to my existing frame. The provided bracket has more than enough holes and slots to accompany your existing setup. Personally, I found the M5 screw heads wouldn't fit into the slotted sections and the M4 screw heads that i used to attach would not countersink enough to clear the sliding bracket on the head so there were some slight modifications made to make things work. It would have been nice to have some zip ties and maybe a few random fasteners that would work with the provided hardware. Overall i think i made a good purchase. The blue anodized finish matches the Creality frame which was a bonus. One gripe i have thus far is simply having to turn on/off the laser head separately from the gantry but a power strip handles that for now.

This was really a nice upgrade for my diode laser. It was easy to install and really does the job. Only complaint was that the little module they sent with it was unprotected and has no mounting hardware. I just used Zip ties to tie it down. One other thing they did not mention is the the unit is bigger than the original and it would hit the frame when you home it. I just 3d printed a spacer for the micro switch to keep that from happening. Other that those 2 things, I really like it and it works well.

I've been running this laser for about a month now, and I think it was money well spent. Forget about cutting the 1/8" basswood plywood several other lasers can do that. (This one will do that in one pass in the 20 power setting) Here is where this leave other laser behind. Let's talk about cutting 3/4" poplar wood in 2 pases on the 60 power at 100% and at 300 mm/min with air assist. Not to many diode lasers can do that. I love this thing.

I purchased this to upgrade my extended bed 24 watt ATEZR heavy duty 24 watt laser. Unfortunately ATEZR, though highly recommended at the time of purchase, is no longer in business. Of all the 3rd party modules, the Laser Tree 60 watt seemed ideal. I only removed the adapter bracket and it became clear, there was no option to use it on my machine. I use my laser daily in my custom leather business, however, occasionally there are other items the 24 watt won't handle, like transparent acrylic, white ABS plastic sheets, glassware and metals. I reluctantly returned the module and purchased a 45 watt CO2 laser that will eat all the above for breakfast. It is heavier with a smaller cutting bed, but the diode laser will cut most of my leathers perfectly and the new CO2 laser will be perfect for the odd items I occasionally have to produce. Based on the build and specifications, I would recommend this module IF it will fit your laser module mount and your frame is heavy duty enough to manage the extra weight. The 60 watt is a beast!

Upgraded my k40 with this, and all I can say is "wow, why did if fight this thing so long" I spent hours making all adjustments on my k40 c02 to only have it fail to cut through time and time again. I had upgraded the size to 16x24 so didn't want to trash it, and didn't want to drop $4000 on a new unit. Thought I'd give this a try. Direct hookup to the MG3 upgrade board.

Works like a champ on a CR falcon with some minor modifications to the machine. I had to drill some holes in the machine bracket to accommodate for the new mounting bracket, 3d print a spacer to account for the larger module, and add a switch to turn off the PWM signal entirely when framing a burn job - the framing cross hairs only show when the power is set to 0, but Creality's stock firmware is set to 5, enough to lightly engrave the perimeter on leather or wood with the more powerful module. Make sure to account for the 21mm offset in lightburn if you're sending via Gcode on a sd card, else it'll try going past zero.
