LOVE the purple! I'm 5'7 280lbs and am between a 3x/4x depending on brand. I think I lean more towards being pear-shaped. I ordered this in a 4x and I think it fits me great. It's roomy enough to wear a hoodie or thick sweater or layers underneath, but not roomy enough to be considered "too big". It's not that heavy feeling. I do wish it had a layer of soft lining, as it's pretty much the outer material and the inside has a thin silky lining same with the hood, so I don't think it would be that warm of a coat/jacket. Where I am we only get mild winters though. The quality seems good, I am a little concerned on the belt though, or maybe I just need to learn how to tie it better. The belt really makes it quite flattering on me! I have been searching for something like this for years but never tried looking online. ... show more

This coat fits really well. Plus sized is accurate and look nice. However, it absolutely does not breathe. It feels humid like wearing a cheap plastic poncho. If you run hot not great for you.

I was highly impressed by the quality of this coat. I owned a London Fog years ago, and decided I wanted another trench coat, so I researched all available, and thought for the price if it was crap, I’d send it back. It is made well, with good fabric. The only issue and its slight, the buttons were tough to unbutton at first but when I rebuttoned it, they slide in a bit easier. I love this trench! I have this one and a name brand trench and this one is more waterproof, more durable, and fits better. Also, the belt actually stays tight when cinched! My only problem with the coat is that the snaps for the hood are weak and the hood comes off to easy. A zipper or buttons would work much better. ... show more
