    • Awesome printer...
I started 10/13/23 with a Halot One. By the 26th I think it stopped working. I have no idea if when I had to stop a print if a tiny bit of resin got down the shaft, or like some folks have said, it just died. Now I get a replacement Halot One on 10/28 and sent the other back. After two prints the Bar in this new one is kicking back and forth. The picture I added with the Halot One on its side is how Amazon delivered the 2nd printer. I heard a bump, then go outside and there it is now tipped over. So the second Halot One was the Amazon drivers fault. Now I decided that I want stronger Z axis rails so I use the return money to get the Halot One Plus. It gets here and I print a character. I then start another that happens to fail. I think support was weak(light). Part of the print stuck to the bottom, no problem I always use the cleaning function the machines come with as directed. When I peel the cleaning out I feel something still on the FEM film in the trough. Is there a second cleaning piece in it? I only ran the cleaning once. I decide to empty the trough out as Creality directs watching their video. It's the FEM, scratched and little bend marks in it. I did TWO prints!!! I clean and level after each carefully and as directed because I'm having such bad luck with these machines I'm now paranoid. I spent quite a bit on the machine, the safety enclosure, resin, 3D printing tools, alcohol, safety mask/goggles, and tools to clean the nozzle when it will be needed. I can't have these machines dying or failing on me, I'll lose too much. Thankfully the Halot One Plus comes with a second FEM film to put on. Yet why did the first get damaged so fast? Maybe it came that way and I missed it? I'm starting to think between Creality and amazon they have a nice thing going. One makes a product they give you ONLY set up directions for. You have to basically go to school on how to use the printer and what slicer program works best, and the other has their drivers roughly handle them during delivery so they may only last until right after the allowed return date. I used Chitubox and Lychee slicer before I found out Halot even had a slicer program. They have nothing telling me that, I found out when I received my Halot One Plus and went searching for a better one. I would give the Halot One and Halot One Plus both ONE star if I thought Amazon would allow the review. As it is I will probably have to force this one to go up because they seem to hold any negative reviews. Yet trust me here... if you're new to 3D printing, or think you can use it out of the box for custom prints, study the slicer programs FIRST before buying a 3D printer. Read on them thoroughly. Otherwise it's just a cute toy that is only worth the prints that come with it(two), the free ones you may find on a cloud site like Creality has, or you'll pay for a clouds premium service to get better prints, all may or may not work for you. ... show more

    • Really precise and clean but very stinky.
I love resin printer I have used for two of my prints the first one came out great it was a wolf with flames amazing detail and then a natural deer with very detailed horns and body overall but it did splendid but my problem with it is that the filter inside the printer does not really do anything it still really stinks and it's quite loud and I am a beginner to resin 3D prints I mostly print PLA but it does not really tell you anything about how to take care of the printer on how to clean when done or what to do when taking it off the printer and to be careful of the resin so I would not recommend for beginners that have zero Idea what there doing and if you still want to resin print go for a PLA printer for starters. ... show more

the size is great, the prints come out great, very quite, and i think the smell is less than the creality ld 002r printer I started with 2 years ago.

    • Stopped working after 5 prints
It prints great. Great build quality, very easy to use. I was excited to be able to produce such great prints and was showing it off on facebook. Then after it finished my last print the screen went blank and it's pretty much just a brick now. I googled it and it's happened to quite a few people. I'm going to contact Creality and see what can be done. Will update with the response. ... show more
