  • Spectacular Hue!
Color: Apple Green
This apple green filament is absolutely beautiful! I used it for my most intense project yet, and the results were breathtaking! Okay, now it's time for an honest break down of my experience with this filament. Arrival: Upon first arrival (albiet quick and prompt) the box was in questionable condition and the spool was cracked on both sides. I'm not sure if this is from the perilous journey that these go through to get here or not, but so far it still appeared usable. Printing: The spool struggled to stay on the spool holder due to the cracks in the spool, causing me to place it on the table in order for it to feed into the extruder. Once I started a print, the filament extruded onto the bed in a normal fashion. At first glance, things were going well. Then I found out that later on in the print the corners started to lift off of the bed. I resolved this by setting the temp to 225c instead of 210c and the initial bed temp to 64c. Quality: This filament is PLA+ making it a bit more resilient to stress than normal. I found that the layer lines blend in to each other resulting in a very uniform finish with semi gloss - one take away that I have for buyers is to take it slow (not too- too slow but the faster you go, the less uniform the finish will be. I used 50mm/s - 60mm/s) Overall I would say that this is one of my favorite filaments to print, as of yet there isn't a single other manufacturer that produces such a stunning color. It did arrive damaged, but that isn't anyone's fault - other than probably the carrier... (no worries though :) ... show more

  • Two spools wrapped nice two where not
I purchased several spools of this in white. Two of the spools were wrapped nicely. The third and fourth were wrapped nicely until you get to the very beginning of them it appears, either in transit or in packaging that the filament became loose if you’re not careful in taking the end off the spool if you could possibly cross one of the other lines, and this would cause the pool line to tangle as indicated by another poster. Being careful of what I just said, I had no problems with printing using this filament. The color of white was very translucent compared to another spool I purchased from a different brand. Speed on my printer was about 200. any faster than that and the filament would appear to shrink and the print turned out flimsy. I guess this could be compensated by using printer settings that add more volume to your extruder when at high speeds. Also, when setting my printer to 500 there were a lot of spiderwebs even though at 100(and 200) there were none. Since most of my prints will be repainted anyway there’s no need for me to have a more opaque color. Also note, I am a new and not too experienced 3-D printer enthusiast, so take that into effect also with this review. I would still recommend this printer filament for projects. ... show more

  • One of my go to filament, especially the minty green color
I love how bright this minty color is, works like a charm, has good adhesion and quality looks great! If you're looking for a minty green color that's vibrant and bright this is your go to! Works like a charm with my bambulab p1s & AMS system!

  • Rainbow color change isn't frequent
Color: Rainbow
I purchased the rainbow spool of filament. In my head when I glanced at the product, I thought the color changes on this would be pretty frequent. They aren't. So you won't get this effect unless it's a larger print. The vendor wasn't deceptive about this in any way. In fact one of the pictures shows the effect dependent on how many grams the print is. So no marks against them. Just wanted to write it here in case someone else happens to think the same thing but catches this review. Regardless, I'm happy with it. The colors are vibrant. And while I'm new to the 3d printing game, the quality seems good to me. Gave me no troubles and prints have come out nicely. ... show more

  • Prints fast with the right setup.
The media could not be loaded. So I pushed this to about 200-300 mms on two ender 3 v2 setups. One stock, one upgraded. The stock one actually really struggled to handle this filiment past 150mms. But the upgraded one with a Sprite Extruder head (direct drive) with a high flow sprite hotend handled it fine at 300mms plus. It also had a belted duel z and brace rods to handle this print. Basically you need a high flow hotend and direct drive to push this filiment to its full speed. Anything stupid fast and custom cooling becomes a must. The new ender 3 v3 can likely handle this filiment like a dream, a bambu can probably hit 400mms+ easily with it. Layer adhesion is good at 220c with mild stringing. Filiment is bone dry. However I can smell a slight burning oil plastic smell when printing, definitely some sort of weird pla+ mix. For the price this is a good pla, just make sure you have the machine for it or it's not worth it. ... show more
