Do NOT Get This Printer - Too Many Problems For a NEW Printer
Returning this piece of junk tomorrow!! Oh, don't get me wrong. It prints beautifully... Like VERY nice prints and very quickly as well. IF you can get it to print. I have to clear stuck filament from the extruder after EVERY SINGLE PRINT. It took a half dozen times having to clear it before I figured out WHY it's jamming. Some fool at Creality decided it was a great idea to make a HARD CODED DEFAULT nozzle temp of 140 when the printer is at idle!!! For those that don't know, that's HIGHER than the glass transition temperature of PLA. Therefore if your machine sits for more than 2 or 3 minutes before a print (which it takes like 10 minutes before each print due to some ridiculously LONG wait times for the controller to do NOTHING. Then the PLA above the hot end partially melts. Only AFTER this period does the machine decide to pull the filament OUT, then attempt to put it BACK IN to the nozzle to start printing.. Well that's TOO LATE. The PLA by then is already jammed in the nozzle and it has to be disassembled AGAIN... I've had to do this EVERY SINGLE TIME between prints... For 8 hours of print time, I've spend a total of about 4 hours clearing the nozzle.. Sure I'm faster at it now, but it's completely unnecessary... The nozzle should NOT BE LEFT AT 140 at idle!!! Creality are you listening!!! No doubt the extruder motor wiring and other items are going to break and wear out from all the disassembly and reassembly over and over and over, before I even get a few weeks of life out of this thing. Not waiting! I've already spent entirely too much time on this thing for something so simple, proper testing at Creality should have found this problem! Going back to Amazon tomorrow and getting a Bambu..

Great purchase
Extremely happy with this printer. The print quality and the features packed into this thing are top notch. Was very easy to set up. I've had no issues with the printer itself or the CFS like others have. I lucked out on getting the updated CFS mechanism. Like every machine and software along with it, there is always a learning curve to get the best print quality possible. But this printer and the slicer are a good start for beginners and advanced for experienced folk. I have owned several printers from various big names and creality has always been my go to. Solid machines with decent customer support. Can't say the same for other big names.

Impressive machine
Ive been a production 3d printing service for about 10 years, after reading a ton of reviews i decided to puchase the K2 plus combo. the CFS unit was easy to install, and overall the unboxing was easy and within an hour or so i was up and printing a test model. Print quality is fantastic , adjustments are quick ad easy . I would expect this printer to cost much more than the money ive spent on it so far. The quality is solid, as has every other Creality printer ive owned. I do love the textured plate that comes with the machine , only con ive found so far is that daily i have gotten a firmware update,(i had an update brick a printer a couple years ago so im leary of them ) but so far nothing has affected the machine. Looking forward to buying a couple more soon for my shop after the first of the year .

An easy to use appliance.
The K2Plus has become my primary tool for printing parts and tools. I have several printers from Prusa, Anycubic, and Creality. The K2Plus is the easiest to use with the most predictable. The CFS makes my life easier. I keep pairs of filament in my primary CFS. When one spool ends, the system automatically switches to the next spool and continues the print without manual intervention. It is a very heavy machine. It is recommended to have 2 people when moving. It can be also loud depending on what surface you place it on and how fast you run it. I ended up placing it on a white Kobalt mobile workbench that my significant other doesn't hate seeing in the main living space in my open floor plan house. When I first set it up, I placed it on the islend in the kitchen. It was extremely loud when sitting on a solid platform biult into the framing of the house. All of the vibrations moved into the floor joists. We won't talk about what she thought of that placement for the first week while I waited on Lowe's. It's a great machine. It works with minimal drama. If I can sell off a couple of my older printers, I want to buy a second.

Don't waste your money!
This printer is a piece of garbage! Please save yourself the money and time fighting it. We've had less than 6 months and have successfully printed maybe 10 times. The rest of our time has been spent doing repairs, replacing parts, unclogging the extruder, researching error codes, you name it...it's a mess! Seller is no help other than online trouble shooting tips that don't fix anything.

Great machine.
My gen 2 k2 has been great. My 1st gen was not so great. Small feature changes to the tube going to the extruder. But much less issue prone than the gen 1. I've got just shy of 1000 hours on each of the two I have. They have been great production machines. I just wish the integrated a dryer into the cfs. Seems like a wasted oppertunity. My kobra s1 has it for half the cost. But overall a great machine. Does many materials well.
