  • Great performing printer
Model: K1 Max
Printer prints super high quality, only thing I would recommend is that you need to get a texture plate for the k1 max and the real unicorn nozzle if you plan on using carbon fiber for long periods of time. My nozzle went out in a day but I replaced it with the unicorn nozzle and had no issues since. I only print cf ... show more

  • Great printer but no support
Model: K1 Max
This is my first 3D printer and I would definitely say I love the hobby. This printer is fast and big. I’ve printer over 100 prints since getting this last month with only a handful of failures. I have had 2 clogs and the camera stopped working. This wouldn’t be that bad but it is impossible to get a hold of Creality for support. I’ve called and emailed but no dice, if not for the Reddit community this would’ve become a large paperweight. Because of this I can’t give this printer a high score ... show more

  • Despite some build quality issues, it printed great right out of the box!
Model: K1 Max
Creality consistency and build quality is hit and miss, but with this sort of machine you sort of have to be an enthusiast and willing to dive in and take it apart a few times. I've been messing with 3d printers for about 10 years and am actually pleasantly surprised with this one. It shipped almost fully assembled and was easy to set up, frame is reasonably square and all the connectors / cables are well protected and routed out of the way. The setup was slightly marred by Creality's cloud server not being found for the first day or two (ended up being able to connect it the second day). During the initial self test the bed was tilted off by about 1.2mm from diagonal corner to corner and did not have a straightforward manual leveling system. It was reasonably flat despite not being level, although not to the standard of my other printers so I expected bad first layers / prints. The auto-leveling is actually only automatic compensation based on the bed height readings, but it works shockingly well on this machine. I was able to get a nearly perfect benchy print from the built-in model in about 13 minutes. This printer is FAST and the print quality is excellent so far with the Creality Slicer built in profiles. I'm still working on shims / adjustment of the bed mounts to level it better and some minor upgrades (lighting mostly and a textured build plate) but so far there's very little that needs to be done for this to be put into use straight away. ... show more

  • Printing in 20 minutes, flawless. Excellent printer if these specs are what you are after.
Model: K1 Max
The Reality K1 Max is an outstanding 3D printer that delivers speed, precision, and reliability. The Core XY motion system ensures smooth, fast prints, while the AI-assisted features, like auto-bed leveling and a built-in camera, make setup and monitoring effortless. I was up and running in 20 minutes, and the video feed is outstanding. The large print volume (300x300x300mm) is great for big projects, and the enclosed design helps maintain print quality. If you want a hassle-free, high-speed printer with excellent results, the K1 Max is a fantastic choice. At this price, it is probably one of the best printers you can get, if the single filament and large build volume are what you are after. ... show more

  • Great printer at this price. But, I had shipping/delivery/QC issue
Model: K1C
Well built. Well packed but (see issue). The printer is fast. Print quality is excellent. Support is good. Klipper implementation for WEB control is adequate. However, if you are used to working with the full version of Klipper, you will feel constrained with your settings options. Almost all of the finer adjustments will need to be done in the "Creality_Print" slicer software. One small example is pressure advance. Issue - The printer arrived with the glass door shattered. The outer and inner shipping box showed no damage. What was left of the door and protective film was still taped to the chassis and in the shipping bag. I was able to clean the safety glass cubes from the chassis, drive screws, support shafts, and belts. Re-greased the screws and shafts and ran the initialization. Everything checked out OK. Creality customer service is sending a new door (after the Chinese new year). So I cut out and installed a plexiglass door until the replacement arrives. Not so sure about the glass door choice as it seems that it can be broken without an obvious sign of force. Look forward to firmware updates and I hope some Klipper genus takes the time to wiggle together a full version for this printer as Creality does give you the option to root it Other than the unfortunate door incident, I am satisfied. Like I said very fast and accurate which is what counts in the long run. --- Update --- Klipper genus is on Github by the name of Guilouz. Full Klipper implementation. Easy install (and uninstall). Supports the touch screen with Guppy. Yes, there is some Linux involved. But it is a copy and paste into a terminal program (SSL). Mainly to run a text menu so you can choose what you want to install. ... show more

  • We got a dud :(
Model: K1C
This was our first 3D printer. The camera didn't seem to do much of anything in terms of stopping bad prints or AI (which wasn't a big deal). Printer was functioning well until the top end had a recurring heating malfunction at 30 days in. It would start to print for several minutes and then lose heat and set error codes. After calling for troubleshooting over the phone we agreed to return printer for refund, which is still not credited by amazon after nearly a month after they recieved it. Expected more longevity from the product. Would have even settled for replacement top end. The software is reliant on cloud technology which I found disappointing. It's difficult to print without uploading files to the cloud, which is a privacy violation. Files must be moved to a USB drive then to the printer in order to avoid uploading to monitored servers. ... show more
