I purchased this new KE model as my first 3D printer. It has not disappointed me. Setup was quick and easy. I'm not sure when this one was manufactured but it seems to be have been revised following some of the initial reviews about loose components and sloppy printing. Out of the box everything was tight and the gantry, hotend and bed were all where they needed to be. I didn't have to go through and adjust anything. The automatic bed leveling works very well. I've had this unit for a month now and not one print has failed by fault of the machine. I've only had one issue with the printer so far. After 70 hours of print time, the temperature control fan on the hotend started making a lot of noise while warming up. It seems the bearing is out of sorts? I contacted Creality customer service and they are sending out a warranty replacement. The printer still prints, I just keep an eye on it the print start to make sure the fan continues to work.

I've had nothing but trouble trying to print from this machine! EVERYONE says it's so easy even for a beginner. BS...There are no directions that come with the printer, the online manual is difficult to understand if not impossible, YouTube videos are somewhat of a help but I'm still having issues printing a very simple thing. Trying to get help is nonexistent and I've about given up. Printer will start to print then a minute of so into print it stops extruding filament. I even replaced the heat element head hoping that would solve the issue with no avail. AVOID THIS PRINTER. IT'S WORTHLESS!!!!!

Decided to upgrade my Ender 3 Pro to the Ender v3 KE. Right out of the box this is an amazing 3D printer for its price point. Speed, accuracy and ease of use makes this a very satisfactory upgrade. There are some design aspects that are questionable such as the filament roll position and the linear Rods instead of rails but nothing that detracts from the overall performance jump from the Ender 3 pro. I've only printed with PLA so far but am hoping PETG, TPU and ABS print as well as the PLA does. Again, the speed is just amazing.

The printer is capable of 115v(normal household current) or 230v. Mine was shipped with the switch in the 230v position. The switch is in the back of the machine inside of a hole.

Works well and easy to use. You can use Tinker CAD for free if you want to make your own items but there’s a huge library of free items to print with their app.
