Easier to handle and move than metal shelves.

Lighter than metal racks, so I can move all four into my home. Very sturdy look better than metal! They connect together with connectors. Can’t change to hight of shelves. But I’m happy with the shelves! Easy to assemble, I used a soft mallet to assemble. Assembly was easy.

Very nice shelving unit. I have other shelving units but this by far is my favorite. I am 67-year-old grandmother, and I was able to put it together in minutes. Sturdy, nice size and overall, very well made. I especially like the fact that it has feet that allow you to level the unit.

Super-Simple Home Shelving System

I'm a big fan of this product--have purchased 6 of them in the last month. The box is big on arrival, more than 48" tall and a little heavy but manageable. The packaging for shipment is quite good, heavy-duty cardboard which protects the unit inside. The unit arrives full plastic-banded, which makes it easy to get out of the box and move to your location. Recommend you assemble the unit at its final destination rather than assemble it and then move it. Once assembled it it pretty easy to move as a single unit. The parts do not solidly lock together; they are held in place by gravity and by tension within the slots but the unit does move pretty well when fully assembled, a relatively easy one-person move. First-time assembly for this takes about 30 minutes. The instructions are included and are super-simple to follow. The design and assembly are fully intuitive, easy to figure out and get done. Once I'd built one it only took about 10 minutes to unpackage and assemble additional units. There are no tools required for assembly but a mallet comes in handy to tap pieces into place. If you're fastening this to a wall with the provided brackets, you'll need anchors/screws, the drill, and a screwdriver. As for storage, the unit does not adjust at all, other than very minor leveling adjustment with the feet. The shelving is not adjustable in any way. The shelving is ventilated, so small things will slip through. The units lock together with the simple cams; four come with each set. They lock together in line; you cannot lock them together at a right angle. This unit is not really that heavy-duty, good for simple home applications, not industrial/commercial. I don't recommend putting seriously heavy stuff on it, as the whole thing is plastic, after all. It works great in both my garage and basement and is holding all of the stuff I've put on it--paint cans, bins, tile, boxes, jugs, etc.--without any problems or with any noticeable sagging. Bottom Line: this is a great product for the price, easy to assemble, and does exactly what it says it'll do. very solid and strong

I bought three of these to help organize my basement. They were easy to assemble Everything came in one box there were no missing parts or issues. They arrived undamaged in good condition. Assembly was easy just be aware the box is a bit heavy. Once they were put together they are very solid and can easily hold a lot of weight. They are nice and deep as well. They were a bit more expensive then some other brands but I must say that I am very satisfied with them . ... show more

Polymer Shelving

It's been a year now and it has held up very well, the size is wonderful, I would rate it 5 stars except 2 of the shelves have developed sags. To be fair about the sagging shelves, one of the shelves holds cases of Soda waters, like Coke, Dr, Pepper, Topo Chico, etc... The other shelf has house hold cleaning supplies stocked on it, in all it is hold a pretty good amount of weight. Assembly was very straight forward and snapped together with ease. Maybe a tap here or there with a hammer to seat a few joints. It is pretty heavy duty for polymer shelving. I wanted non Reactive/Corrosive shelving for the garage to store house hold overflow on and this is a very good unit for that need. I would buy this again if I could not find something at a better price point. ... show more

Solid shelves; well designed

These are solid shelves that are well designed. I bought 3 of them (4 shelf units) for my basement to replace wood shelves. The adjustable feet are great as they allow the unit to be level which was particularly important for the unit that spanned a floor drain. You can also couple or link units together and I did that for 2 of the units and they are rock solid with no sagging. You should know that the horizontal dimensions between the pillars that support the shelves is 33" and the distance between the shelves is 14 5/8"; essential to know for how to place/slide bins or boxes. Nice shelves but note issue with clamps.

They are well made and easy to assemble. Note they are only 40" wide compared to the 48" wide yellow/black ones available. There is some advantage to this as the 48" shelves always sag prematurely. That is less likely with a 40" shelf. These are also deeper than the usual yellow/black ones. The clamps that come to secure it to the wall are too deep for the uprights by at least 1/2" so there is a lot of play there. Makes no sense to me why they are not designed to be a better fit! Also, there are no screws included for the wall clamps so you need to procure these. #10 x 1.5" worked for me. ... show more
