    • 10-yr-old helped Assemble - she loves it!
Overall, it was pretty easy to assemble and works great. We had no problems that common sense wouldn't have prevented. Such as - you should insert all the boards for one side BEFORE you tighten down that side. We had a REALLY hard time getting the ladder steps screwed in, but I swear we were following instructions. A couple of the bolts are still sticking out significantly, but no one has fallen yet. Smallish 10-yr-old girl uses this and it's GREAT. We got a couple stand-alone shelves to put under for book and shoe storage. It seems really sturdy. INSTALLATION TIP: We used the mattress slats as spacers for the mattress slats. As in, set three slats together, right up against each other, and screw in the two outside ones, then remove the inside one and use it as a "spacer" for the next. They are all uniformly spaced and it filled the frame perfectly. Hope that made sense. INSTALLATION TIP 2: The little woodscrews that they give you are crap. We tried using them to attach the side slats to the top guardrail. The screw BROKE. I shifted things over a half inch and tried another. The screw BROKE. I grabbed a walmart set of woodscrews and used the smallest size, and it held fine. We did use the little provided screws for the mattress slats, and through the lighter wood, it worked fine.     • If you are patient, this is a good buy
The individual parts are not labeled and pieces were missing. Should have only taken us an hour but took us 4+ due to poor manufacturing directions.

I don’t ever write reviews for this I buy, but this bed… you get what you pay for I guess. 3 warped boards, cracked when I tightened the screw (I’m 4’10” 118lbs, so yea…) and the pieces pretty much have the same condition (little divots and markers and scratches) as the 4 year old crib I just took apart to make this bed. I’m disappointed, but hoping it serves its purpose. ... show more

    • We have been shipped 2 broken and previously returned beds.
We have now purchased 3 of these beds. 2 of them were previous returns re sent to us with broken parts. We are currently waiting for parts to be replaced hopefully early July.

I liked that it was easy too assemble, what i dislike that some pieces were missing ,some parts where the wood was chipped ..and some of the wood was curved/ bent. Overall hieght and size was good.

    • Such a great little bed!
I was so impressed with this bed. We have a 5 and 6 year old and were worried about them getting hurt on a traditional bunk bed. This bed was the perfect height. The kid on the bottom has plenty of room and the kids on top isn't too high. The 6 year old sleeps on top and very easily can climb down the ladder. Assembly took less than an hour.     • Nice beds assembly sucked
We ordered 2 sets of these. The first set went together on, took longer than expected with a few hiccups but looks great and the kid loves it. The second one, one of the legs had the homes drilled the wrong way. I took it apart 3 times trying different ways to make it fit. I ended up drilling out my own holes and making it work. I was offered either a replacement piece or send the whole bed back for a refund. Either option meant taking it back apart for a 4th time.
