This piece, and the way it nests with the Open Toolbox, is entirely excellent, and worth the price. Yes, I have ordered some additional sorting boxes (small, medium, and large), and I wish they came with the item for the price, but they don't. I love the way the sorting boxes fit in to the "angle-anchors" (my word) on the bottom of the toolbox "floors". They keep the boxes exactly anchored in place, allowing the top to close perfectly, and, if you decide to test it, and turn the toolbox completely upside down, you will find all of your classified parts staying exactly where you placed them in their proper sorted boxes. Yes, Festool is a drug, and an addiction but at least it is an honorable, "good" addiction, making one who works with tools and parts more efficient and cleaner in the long run. As Martha Stewart used to say, "It's a good thing!".

The SYS-Storage Systainer offers better organization and access to tools than a typical swing top toolbox. When fully opened you will expose more of your tools to view than in a typical toolbox. Although it won't fit larger tools like a framing hammer these bulkier items can be dropped in a Sys-Toolbox Open Top Systainer and the toolbox will conveniently lock on top. The toolbox is well made, quality plastic that feels very durable. Of course the more systainers you have the more value they have over other types of storage.

It's a Festool...therefore it is pretty much Perfect! Design, operation, and build are all 1st Class. Lower drawer for clamps or small loose tools. Designed to painlessly pull up steps, and all systainers are secured by strap. Price is right as well.

I really like these containers. Funny thing is don't even own any of their tools. Just like these sustaner's. They are a good small size. Perfect for so many things. Just use your imagination and put what ever you want in them.

I own a lot of Festool tools and use them for work. I even designed a slide out shelf in back of my 4runner just for the boxes. This is the second dolly i have purchased (this is the newer version). The first one could hardly hold 3 systainers without feeling like it was going to break. It could not go up stairs as it stated and seemed like Festool feel asleep designing it. Now on to this newer version. Wow, big difference all the way around. Much sturdier, with the help the built in strap and supports. It slides up every type of stairs I have tried (concrete, wood, metal, lipped, tall, and short) due to the replaceable slide strips above the wheels. Not to mention no marring or black streaked liker moving dollies leave. The small drawer at the bottom is great to hold a few essential items as well. I have loaded it down with 3 )#4 systainers, 2) #3, and 1)#2 systainer it took load with ease. My only complaint and minor is, it does not break down for transportation or at least easily. I still highly recommend though.

Lot's of wow's for this product. First wow is the speed at which it arrived. . .blinked and it was here! The shipping box was beat up but the dolly appeared to be in great shape. Next wow, the fit. Of course it's made for the Festool sytainers but everything stacks so perfectly and locks in place with additional strapping that came with the dolly this is a no tip dolly. Finally the capacity, I can't begin to describe the amount of systainers I can put on this dolly an it carts the load around with very little effort and easy maneuverability!

I purchased this SYS 2 container for the Fein T-Loc 2 insert to hold my new FMM 350Q. The insert is just the right size for the SYS 2 storage unit but the best thing about this unit is the engineering. It locks onto other SYS containers for transport or storage. The design of this whole system is so clever that it makes all other tool boxes obsolete. This container system isn't just for shop use. They work splendidly on vans or other commercial vehicles. I also purchased the dolly (which I highly recommend) to carry my five Systainer units, it's wonderful not to have to carry all my gear to the job site anymore. If you're in the trades you should spend the money and outfit yourself and crew with the Festool system that will be as flexible as you need it to be.
