Love the shelves! I bought them for my canned goods. They are sturdy and well made. I’ve bought 2 with plans to buy more. I wish there was an option to buy “replacement” shelves. While i bought the set with the most shelves (5) there is enough gap between of wasted space and i tend to want to double stack my jars and you should not do that with home canning. I could add more storage with more shelves and still be under the weight the company says each shelf can bear. They were easy to assemble…I didn’t have to have special tools. I did not put them on wheels b/c i had no intention of moving them. The bottom shelf is several inches off the floor so there is potential storage space there, but adding the wheels would provide even more headroom, but i don’t know about the durability and strength of the wheels vs the weight on the entire shelving system. ... show more

Quite happy with this purchase. I've had to buy several of these type of steel wire shelves for my garage, and this one felt like a decent quality. The posts were solid and heavier than the cheaper ones that you can find here on amazon. Sometimes it's a crap shoot, but these were actually pretty solid. Also, the wheels are apprpriate sizing and large. Some of the cheaper brands/models out there have tiny wheels which typically ends up failing or causing the shelf to easily tip. I got the black matte color and it looks like some solid painting, doesn't easily scratch off or anything. I would definitely buy this again if I needed it. ... show more

Very easy to assemble by one person, sturdy and well made. Looks very good. The wheels make it so much easier to move around and the locking wheels keep it from moving when you don't want it to. (It also comes with leveling feet if you want a stationary unit.) I like that the shelves are adjustable. All in all, nothing but 5 stars all around. We have ordered 3 of these shelving units at different times, and absolutely love them ! One we use in the house for storage of many heavy boxes, heavy cleaning jugs and many other items. The other 2 are used in the garage for storage of heavy tools, miscellaneous filled containers, filled crates, heavy rolls of wire, boxes of many heavy truck and auto parts, etc., etc. We ordered the ones on wheels so makes for easy pull-out to clean/vacuum. And FAST SERVICE ! WOW, came several days ahead of schedule. Easy to put together, too. I'm a senior woman and I put them together (of course, being my 3rd one now), I'm a pro at putting together in like not even a half hour. I purchased this to store paint and drywall tools in my basement. I also plan on using it to store all of the batteries I use for my power tools and lawn mower and snow blower that need to be stored inside in a warmer environment than my garage during the winter. Nothing really heavy. So even though it's not really heavy duty it's still fine for my usage. Shipping was fast but the box that this is packaged in is very poor. So poor that it doesn't surprise me that others have received it damaged. Mine came with some tears in the box exposing the contents inside but luckily nothing was damaged. But when I got the box opened and tried to move the box across the floor, the box literally fell apart. Hands down the worst box I've ever had anything delivered in. Assembly was fairly straight forward. The only thing I would add would be a rubber mallet for tapping the shelves down onto the plastic wedge sleeves that hold the shelves in place. Even though the rack is easy to assemble, it is very easy to see how it can be put together wrong and put together wrong will greatly compromise it's strength. Put together correctly it's fairly stable. Once put together you can see why I'm saying it's not heavy duty. When you push down on the mesh shelves with just your hands it's easy to see the flex in the shelve. Of course this is partly why the directions list a 350lbs weight max but that weight needs to be evenly distributed. For me I placed all of my paint cans on the bottom evenly distributed and see no problem. The rest of the shelves easily handled everything else I've placed on them. Overall if assembled correctly and used according to the instruction this is a good shelf. I will probably purchase another one for additional storage but for my garage where I have heavier items I would not recommend this. ... show more
