    • Has just enough HP for what you may need.
This little hedge trimmer is great for what it is supposed to do, trim hedges and small bushes. However, sometimes I feel like I have to really work to get it to cut in the first or second passthrough. I feel like it is a bit of the technique I use, but I didn't have too much of a problem with a prior hedge trimmer. The 4 star rating comes from the fact that it has an added "saw" bit at the front, and it is a lot more lackluster when you are trying to actually use it for branches and such that are even the size it states it is for. Either way, this is a relatively inexpensive hedge trimmer and I would recommend it. ... show more

Can't believe how well this little trimmer/pruner works. I have lots of shrubs that I routinely maintain and this trimmer manicures them perfectly. Tons of power.     • Defective out of the box
Upon opening the box I immediately noticed that one of the four screws that holds the handle to the motor housing was snapped off flush with the surface of the housing. The unit comes with four screws, two on each side of the motor housing, protruding from the housing. The handle is NOT attached. The screws must be unscrewed from the housing, the handle located over the screw holes, then the screws replaced and tightened. However, one of the screws had been broken off flush with the housing surface. The piece buried in the housing could not be removed so the handle could not be mounted.
