Let me start off by saying I have a VERY nice set of stainless steel pots and pans, and this thing has pretty much replaced all of them. It’s big enough for me to meal prep 10 to 12 meals at once, the nonstick is absolutely phenomenal: I literally can clean it with a wet paper towel in about 10 seconds. It heats up almost instantly and the heat feels very even. Chicken, pancakes, eggs, bacon, ground beef, you name it. I honestly made the best scrambled eggs I’ve ever had on it tonight, set it to 250 and move them around and they were so fluffy and light. I love that it can store super compact but I honestly keep it on my counter and haven’t even put it away yet. This thing has absolutely changed the way I cook and I get excited every time I get to use it. Just remember to only use silicone or wood utensils or you’ll definitely wreck the nonstick. I have had this skillet for eight year’s ,the best skillet ever I use it daily,I have an electric stove that I do not use ,only use when I have to boil noodles!! For those who leave bad reviews.. #1 Use plastic spatulas!! #2 It’s not a crockpot. Don’t cook it all day long and a skillet!! #3 Don’t use a scrub when washing!!!! #4 Wrap your electrical outlet and a towel when you put it back into the skillet!! #5 You well enjoy if you just follow the four instructions that I had just listed!!!! #6 Forgot to mention you can use paper towels to wipe the skillet that has oil in it and then wash with a sponge or dish cloth!!! What I like is the storage and the fact you can remove the skillet to clean it from the base. This is my 2nd skillet--my first one, I had for about 6 years. This one however, I've had for just over 6 mos. and it gets substantially more use than my previous one. The non-stick is not 'wearing,' but I can see where the coils heat the skillet now. This results in very uneven cooking. This I attest to the metal being far thinner than my first one. Since this is my second, I have a comparison to the first. And it is starting to not align to latch when I attach the skillet in the base. The size is great - I can cook a full lb. of thick sliced bacon at once, and some skillet dishes I fix that are iffy about fitting in a stove-top skillet...a non-issue with this. Would I buy it again? Absolutely, and I will need to probably in the next 4 mos. Kind of a shame because of the cost - having to replace this every year.
