Completely perfect for my needs. I ended up buying a second one because I loved it so much. It fits my DVD collection and video games nicely. It looks very pretty. I can see why some people might find this unsteady but I found it to be nice and sturdy. For people who are worried about it being too flimsy there are a couple of tips that I use putting together this type of furniture which might be helpful. I put wood glue in between the pieces when I am putting them together. I also buy extra of the short nails and add them to the back so that it has more than the normal amount of nails holding the backing on. I also am putting glue between the backing and the particle board before I put the nails. I then let it dry for 24 hours before I put anything on the furniture. I have found that this simple and inexpensive extra step really helps to make my particle board furniture pieces last longer.

Waste of time and money. pieces of the wood lament were chipping off as I took it out of the box. as you assemble it screws will fall out despite how tight or loose they are. parts are not labeled which make the bare bones instructions borderline useless. as I was standing up one half of the assembled unit 1 board cracked and another just snapped. I had to throw the whole thing out and I am now out nearly $100 when you factor in taxes. If you read this review and still buy this product you deserve all the misery it brings. it chips, cracks, scratches and breaks under the slightest use. Total garbage and a complete waste of my time and money. The one saving grace is I did not have the chance to put items of value on it since I am confident it would have collapse and damaged them. in my opinion this product is so bad that Amazon should step in and ban it from the site. I'd give it zero stars but that isn't an option.

I never leave reviews but in this case I felt compelled to leave one. Let me start by saying I've been looking for a shelf for weeks to house my game collection and my criteria for a shelf was a bit outlandish to say the least. I needed something that didn't take up too much space but at the same time had a lot of space on it, quite ridiculous now that I'm seeing it written out. I also needed the shelf to have many shelf's on it and I needed/ wanted the space between the shelves to be no more than 6 inches and no less than 5. Then finally I needed this unicorn of a shelf I was looking for to be affordable or preferably cheap if possible. My search was running thin and I was on the verge of giving up until I came across this diamond in the rough. It was exactly perfect in every way I needed it to be almost too good to be true, then I read the reviews.... About 80% of the reviews we're just completely trashing this thing. Calling it junk, useless, not worth the money, anything you can think of. Honestly I felt like I could relate to this shelf. I thought about it for about a day maybe less then decided well if this thing does suck I guess I can just return it, I mean it's super cheap anyway. I just got it today and I love it so much, I couldn't of found a more perfect shelf for what I needed. Now that doesn't mean it is the perfect shelf period, it just means it's perfect for what I need it for. I can see how it wouldn't be suitable for some who need something more sturdy or bigger or whatever the case may be. But like I said I needed a shelf for a certain size of box for the games I have and this shelf rose to the occasion. This thing is the definition of 'you get what you pay for' but it meets every need on my impossible checklist. So with all that being said it is a great shelf for me but that doesn't mean it didn't come with some issues, albeit minor, but issues nonetheless. It does have trouble staying upright sturdy but they give you stuff to help with that. The directions could have been a bit more straightforward but I was able to get the job done so it's okay. Other than that I really don't have too much to complain about at the moment. I posted a few pictures to show how perfect it is for what I need. In closing just make sure you double triple quadruple check all specs dimensions length width everything before you purchase otherwise you're gonna have a bad time

I was hopeing it be sturdier when all put together but its kind of weak feeling like it could be easily broke. It also says it takes 30 minutes to build but it took me closer to 2 hours. I was also being very cautious and taking my time to make sure nothing gets stripped or damaged ghough, if rushed it could be done in an hour maybe, not no 30 minutes though. I wish the back panel was 1 piece vs 3 but I get it they do this to cut down on shipping costs and make it fit in a smaller box but I ended up with small cracks you can see light through. What I do like about it is that it doesnt take up much room. It will hold 95 dvds, 19 on each of the 5 shelves you end up with if thats your reson for getting this. Or you can put more shelves in and put whatever but for dvd's you end up with 5 that hold 19 dvds and a small slot for a tv series or somthing thicker with a few dvds in it.
