TL;DR: A decent, capable pancake compressor but the price feels a little steep for what you get. I've tried out this air compressor a few times and it does what it says. It hits supposedly 150 PSI max and delivers 2.6 SCFM at 90 PSI, which is enough for finish nailers, brad nailers, and trim work without issue. The oil-free pump is a genuine convenience since there's no lubrication to manage. At about 31 lbs with rubber foot pads and a grip handle, it's easy enough to move around a garage or job site. The 6-gallon pancake tank is compact and the dual quick couplers let you run two tools at once, which is a nice feature at this size. The dual gauges and large regulator make pressure adjustments straightforward. 🛠️ One practical note: the low-voltage start motor handles cold weather and extension cords well, which matters if your garage isn't exactly climate controlled. It comes with a 25 ft air hose and has a drain valve to clear out moisture after use, which you should actually do regularly to extend tank life. High quality materials and good build overall, but the value is just okay given the price point 📦

I got this CRAFTSMAN 6-gallon pancake compressor to have something compact for general garage and home projects, and it’s been a great addition. The compact size makes this compressor manageable and easy to move around, especially with the handle on top. It’s not very light, but it’s still easy enough to carry from one area to another without much effort. The pancake design also keeps it stable on the floor, and the rubber feet help keep vibration under control when it’s running. Performance has been good for the types of tasks I use it for. It fills the tank fairly quickly and reaches the full 150 PSI without struggling. I’ve used it for tire inflation, blowing dust out of tools, and running smaller air tools, and it keeps up well. The 2.6 SCFM rating at 90 PSI feels appropriate for nailers and light-duty work. It’s not meant for continuous heavy air tools, but for intermittent use around the house or garage it does exactly what I expected. The included hose and dual quick couplers are nice to have and I appreciated that they came with this package. Being able to leave two tools connected saves time switching things around. The dual gauges are easy to read, and the regulator knob makes pressure adjustments simple. I also appreciate the oil-free pump design. There’s no maintenance beyond draining the tank, which keeps things straightforward. Noise level is about what I’d expect for a compressor in this class. It’s noticeable when it kicks on, but not surprising or harsh. Once it reaches pressure, it cycles normally and doesn’t run constantly unless I’m actively using air. Overall, it is well-built, portable, and practical for home use. For DIY projects, trim work, tire inflation, or general shop tasks, it’s been reliable and easy to work with and I would definitely recommend to others.

Awesome compact compressor. This is my 3rd compressor, I have an old garage sale unit about 3x this size, a different name brand about 1.5x as big, and now this. This one is super compact and lightweight, doesn't need wheels like the other two, and much much easier to get into the back of a truck (or even car). This one has dual outputs, which is a nice feature, but I generally don't make use of. Pressure regulator is easy to make fine adjustments on, and the two gauges are well labeled. It's much quieter than my large compressor, and pretty on par with my medium. Drain is slightly off to the side and features a flip release, which is wonderful, always drain your tanks!

This is just what I expected from a Craftsman product. Reasonable quality for a reasonable price. It's not a high end compressor but neither is the price. The only assembly is 2 screws to put the handle on, which feels insufficient for carrying the weight hanging on 2 small screws self threaded into plastic but it does the job for now. Otherwise plug it in and turn it on. It is oil free which is typical for these compressors, lightweight and maintenance free but it also means it is noisy. It's no fault of the compressor, any oil free compressor is noisy. The size is convenient and portable. It won't take up much space in the garage and can be filled and then tossed into the trunk to go fill up a friends low tire. It's good when used within it's capabilities. It will air up tires, run finishing nailers, hobby paint guns, impacts for short durations (rotating car tires). Any continuous demand air tools (sanders, drills, framing nailers, grinders, cut-off tools) will quickly exhaust the tank and the compressor will not keep up. It has two quick couplers allowing for 2 tools at the same time. Most of us won't need the 2nd but it's there for 2 brad nailers being used at the same time for construction work. The regulator and gauges are fine. The included hose is long enough for most of us and the compressor is portable enough to easily move it closer to the work. No air accessories or attachments are included. It suits my needs and meets my expectations.
