I have a dark home so I want to let light in while keeping a little privacy too. These are very sheer and let on lots of light. There is zero privacy at night but I knew this and have ugly mini blinds from the landlord.. So I only lower those at night. PROS: +The material is very nice. I didn't even need to iron these...I could hang them right away. +The seams are even and sewn well. The rod pocket is consistent and fits my 1/2" rod well. They feel very rich to the touch. +They wash very well and really do not hold the dirt much. In the house they are wonderful. I'm the sunroom I have glass jalousie windows which I keep open all the time. They do get dirty fast but they wash well. I have a covered screened patio where I keep my hot tub.. They get filthy there and I do need to wash them every other week but that's essentially an outdoor area. White+daily Florida wind & rain don't mix well. I just wash in the machine and hang them up wet. Not a wrinkle! +These look BEAUTIFUL with white Christmas curtain lights behind them! I put that on the patio and I love it! CONS: -They wash well in the machine on cold water but DO NOT PUT THEM IN THE DRYER! They don't handle heat well... It warps them and makes them permanently wavy. I put the warped ones in the screen room so I can still use them. NEUTRAL: -They are a little more sheer than I expected so I used 4 panels per window instead of 2 as planned. I had to place a 2nd order as a result. They are not expensive so it wasn't too bad for 3 windows. +The extra fullness turned into a plus because the windows look more elegant and I can use pretty tiebacks now. Since I have 4 panels per window I have also used some pretty pearl strings to tie them in the center which gives a different look. BOTTOM LINE: I love these so much I ended up changing all the windows in the house to these panels. So far I have ordered them 4 times. ... show more

We have these in our bedrooms, they are perfect for what we need. If you have a good view, these are great. They will allow you to see what is going on outside during the day, but will provide some privacy. At night you won’t get much privacy at all. I have these paired on a double rod with blackout curtains. You can probably adjust the daytime privacy by getting a wider width so the curtains are bunched together more or a darker shade. We have a view of the woods and I like to see out the window, but also like to not be clearly seen from the street and these are perfect for that. They are lightweight, inexpensive, breezy, elegant and filter the light nicely. ... show more

These look really nice. They allow a lot of natural light through while still giving you privacy. I ended up buying 2 sets for our sliding glass doors as I wanted more pleats to give more privacy, but a lot of natural light still comes through.
