I knew from experience that this was going to be a quality product, and after using it for a while I was right. The awesome fact is the compactness of this compressor as it will fit under my flush mounted bed cover on my truck. It stands a little less than 20". Even though it's small, it still packs a punch. It comes with most of the tools a typical DYI person needs. It takes up almost no space in the garage which is awesome. The hose is a bit on the stiff side, but it's pretty high quality so it should hold up for years to come even after dragging it around corners or across gravel. it also has two couplers right out of the box which is convenient when using two different air tools, or sharing the work with someone else. It's also lightweight which makes it super easy to load and unload it from your vehicle or taking it upstairs. The regulator is very easy to adjust and seems to hold the setting well, even after long periods. It may be on the pricier side, but the Craftsman quality in my opinion is well worth it.

This is my first dealing with a home-based air compressor, and I am impressed. Of course, I remember the Craftsman tools from years ago when Sears was a major outlet, so the fact that they still exists is good news. I've only use it for a few tasks so far (such as putting air into my car tires), but it's quality stuff. It's a bit noisty, but nothing that is too bad. The included attachments (hoses, connectors, even a tire gauge) is a nice touch. Assuming I follow all of the precautions and recommendations, this compressor should last a long time. My verdict: 4 stars.

I picked this up because I am a hobbyist woodworker and wanted something to help clean sawdust off my pieces. I also liked the idea of using it for airing up tires and possibly light spray work. The size is compact for a 6-gallon unit and the weight is manageable, so it is easy to move around the shop. The overall build quality looks solid, and the pancake design keeps it stable on the ground. It comes with a full accessory kit and standard quick connect fittings, so connectivity is simple right out of the box. After using it I found it has plenty of power for what I need. It fills fairly quickly and keeps up well for blowing off dust and inflating tires. The dual couplers are useful since I can leave one tool connected while using another. The airflow is consistent and the controls are easy to read and adjust. It is not quiet and gets fairly loud when running, which is expected for this type of compressor. The included accessories work, though they feel more basic compared to the compressor itself. I gave it 5 stars because it does exactly what I needed it to do and has been reliable so far. The quality feels good and it has held pressure without issues. The weight and portability make it easy to use in different areas without much hassle. For the price I think the value for money is very good for a home shop compressor with this level of power and features.

The Craftsman 6-gallon pancake air compressor is a great kit to get you started. If this is your first air compressor, it has everything you need to get up and running right out of the box. At 82 dB, the noise level is very manageable compared to similar pancake-style air compressors. It's not the quietest on the market, but it's muffled enough that it's not annoying to work around. It has a great compact design that doesn't take up much space but also makes it very easy to move around. Assembling everything was simple and straightforward. Some basic tools are needed—you'll need a long T20 Torx bit (really my only complaint) for the handle, plus two wrenches to assemble the hose and fittings and make sure they're sealed tight. After that, you're ready to plug it in and go! The pressure regulator is very smooth and easy to turn, and the gauges are set at an angle that makes them easy to read. I really like that a lot. The dual-outlet design is also a nice touch—the ability to swap tools while staying connected is very convenient!

Its way quieter than the one i bought a few years ago. It builds pressure quickly and works great for small projects or the weekend DIY projects. I love the fact that it comes with an adjustable pressure regulator. It's kind of the perfect size. The compressor itself seems durable while the hose could be better. The hose is my least favorite part and the easiest to change. It's a little too hard and doesn't conform well around corners or tight areas. Other than that, I'm very impressed by this compressor and what i got for the money.

I ordered this to specifically to use on a re-roofing project. The roof was on the smaller side of 1500 sq ft. This little compressor is light enough to carry and place on my roof. I used this with a metabo roofing nailer with no issues. I'm no where near professional and nail slowly and consistently. At my rate the compressor would kick in after each 12-15th nail. While it was on I did not notice a difference difference in the driving force. While the compressor is running it is very loud. Having this on the roof near me required that I use ear protection to work comfortably. The compressor is very well constructed and has easy to read dials and adjustments. The compressor came with a nice kit for inflating tires and blowing air. The debris removal tool is nice and I use it in conjunction with my shop vac to remove saw dust from my miter. This is a good value for the nice portable compressor with a useful kit.

I’ve been using this CRAFTSMAN 6-gallon pancake air compressor for a variety of jobs around the garage, and it’s been a dependable and convenient tool. The pancake design keeps it stable and compact, and the built-in handle makes it easy to move around the shop or jobsite. The 150 PSI maximum pressure gives it plenty of power for common tasks like inflating tires, running brad nailers, and blowing out dust. It also delivers 2.6 SCFM at 90 PSI, which helps the tank recover fairly quickly between bursts of air when using pneumatic tools. Holds pressure well without any noticeable leaks. This is an OK air compressor, very typical of this style. It's a good quality product. From empty it takes just under 3 minutes to fill completely. Its not at all quiet, measuring well over 90 dB, enough that hearing protection is required. For reference this is in the same range as a lawn mower or power saw. The 2.6 cfm @ 90 PSI is sufficient for most air tools but probably not enough for paint spraying or other high volume applications, but very typical of this style compressor. None of these things are true negatives because most compressors of this style have similar specifications. I've owned and used a few of them. Very handy portability with enough air for most applications on a construction site, at least for a single worker. Its perfect for a handy home owner like me. The accessory kit that comes with it is serviceable not up to the quality of the compressor. The hose is stiff and kinks. It comes with a blow gun, air chuck and tire pressure gauge. There are fittings for the hose, but oddly it's short one male, so there's not enough for both the blow gun and tire chuck. The blow gun and tire chuck aren't great quality, they are serviceable but not nicely made. I'm happy to have this compressor, it's much handier than larger horizontal units and will work well with my nail guns, filling tires and for blowing the water from of my outdoor plumbing. It's a good quality product, there is no reason not to purchase this if the price is right. But plan on getting a hose and the basic accessories separately.
