The gpu i received (on the bottom of the image) wasnt actually a 3090, it was a 3070 ti board inside the case for a 3090. Be careful and check your device manager and specs when you get a used gpu!

It's known that the Samsung gddr6x ram has a heat issue. I would expect a gigabyte to handle it better than they did. Cheap thermal pads. And missing thermal pads where they're needed. Also the back plate does not help dissipate any of the heat. I have two of these. Other than that issue awesome cards. But be advised if you want maximum performance you're going to have to get some good aftermarket thermal pads update it and maybe even add some heat sinks on the back like I did. ... show more

    • Not worth the price what so ever
My buddy just got into PC gaming within the past year and had me help him out building a PC. He decided to go for broke (literally) and purchased two RTX 3090's for himself and one for me as thanks for helping him. The graphics card itself is amazing. Upgrading from an RTX 2070 super, the difference is between night and day. Games run butter smooth on ultra settings at 4k HDR with ray tracing enabled when possible for every game I played. The noise the fans make is considerable but does not bother me for they seem to do a good job keeping the card cool. The main issue I have with this card is the price. I felt guilty keeping the card my friend got me because of how much it costs. The performance this card offers is down right ridiculous but somehow people found a way to make the prices even more ridiculous. At the time of me writing this review the cheapest 3090 of this model is $2,896.69. THAT IS 2 TIMES THE MSRP ($1500). Don't get me wrong this card is great and certainly worth the $1500 price tag but nothing more than that. The down right troglodytic individuals that are hiking these prices do not deserve your money. I returned my 3090, do not buy into the FOMO. ... show more

They will try to tell you what the "Market Value" is of something by purchasing all the stock and then going to raise the prices. Don't buy this above MSRP.

NVIDIA FE card is only $1500, "aftermarket" card should be no more than $1600-1650 without AIO water-cooling or waterblocks. SCALP pricing, recommend do not buy,
