I know that Craftsman is now owned by Stanley Black Decker, so this isn’t like a product Sears would have sold from decades ago — yet maybe in a way it’s just almost as good— it seems to have good quality, not cheap at all. I have only used it once, to blow out the water lines while winterizing my RV, and everything worked well. Hopefully, it will have good longevity. This was perfect for me. It isn't very large or heavy. It fills up quick and holds enough air. It is very loud so it only gets use in the day. Perfect for cleaning or filling up things that need air.

I bought the air compressor to use to inflate tires in the garage, blow off the work bench and other light duty applications that come up where I didn't want to be fetching and running my larger 5 gallon unit that is in a different building as well. The Craftsman mostly fits the bill. It is simple and convenient to use, easy to blow down when I am done using it and fits on a lower shelf that is out of the way but accessible. I am happy with the unit I bought but if I had it to do over again I would buy the 2 gallon model (If it would fit in the same location).
