    • Fragile Junk - Will Likely Break During Installation
This product is junk. The button-press mechanism behind it is some of the cheapest I've seen. The outer metal looks nice. But the button won't work very long - if it even withstands the installation without breaking apart. Don't buy.

Easy to install as a replacement for the dated one that was on there. Solid and the size is perfect for the porch. I love it. Iron is rustic with a hand forged look.

I had no problems installing the doorbell at all. It was installed on a stucco wall. I predrilled and put in some plastic anchors that were not included. The screws are small and I used a #1 phillips screwdriver. A #2 will strip the screws and is too big. Looks good and is just what I was looking for to cover where I hand a Ring Pro doorbell that I took off after it died. ... show more

    • It works and looks good but getting it installed takes better mounting screws and some patience.
The plat and actual button seem fairly sturdy but the electric switch in the back falls off very easily. The screws on the wiring switch has 2 screws that are very difficult to open and close requiring a firm grip and a steady hand holding a very small plastic unit to open and close to connect the wire. Then once you finally get the wires connected the darn screws that come with the plate for mounting are made out of the softest metal I have ever tried to screw into a wall. Stripped way to easy. If you are patient and have some durable mounting screws ( I like flat slots on a round head for a clean finish) You can get a nice result using this unit but the price of $32 I expected something a bit more substantial requiring less frustration in installing. ... show more

Has a nice wrought iron look. It's not a standard size i.e. the size of a normal outlet/switch cover - it much narrower. It mounts to the wall with screws on each corner. I mention this because I was looking for a "single gang" sized doorbell with appropriately position screws - this is NOT it. I still like it though and ended up mounting it on a wood frame first and mounting the frame on the outlet. ... show more
