UPDATE: customer service has helped and sent me a new ice maker. I did buy the 2-year warranty. Thank you so much Gloria! back to having my favorite ice This ice maker was fantastic for the first 6 months. It made ice quickly, was easy to use, and looked great on the counter. I was genuinely impressed and really enjoyed using it daily. Unfortunately, it suddenly stopped working. It still powers on and makes loud noises like it’s trying to make ice, but nothing ever comes out. I’ve tried cleaning and restarting it, but nothing helps. It’s disappointing, especially since I took good care of it and expected it to last longer. I really loved this product while it worked, and I wish it had held up better over time.

Purchased July 2024, worked great. Most reviews said it was loud, not gonna lie, it’s noisy, so I placed it in my pantry and all was well, even though I could still hear it. It got louder and louder until all I got was an extremely loud buzzing sound, louder than my smoke alarm. Afraid it would catch fire, ( outside was extremely hot to touch) I unplugged it and haven’t used it since. I’ve contacted the company for a replacement, left a message. They returned my call within 5 minutes, texted me instructions to clean the ice maker with vinegar and purified water x3. Will update after this is done. Update: I cleaned the ice maker as instructed, it got worse and stopped making ice. I sent a video to the company showing the water in the reservoir and the machine on and all it would do was squealing noises. They texted me back and asked if I wanted a replacement, I had it within 3 days. Great customer service! Update: I followed the cleaning instructions, and the ice maker is working like a boss. Would upgrade to 4 stars if I could. Customer service was great.

Love this nugget ice maker! We've had it since January and it works great! The ice is a soft crunchy ice in a tiny cube shape. We only use distilled water. Ours is making ice constantly all day (my daughter is addicted to it and we use it in our drinks). The only downside is like others have said, it is loud at times but you get used to it and we don't even pay attention to it anymore. Definitely love it!!

The only issue I had was how it started malfunctioning after about 3 months, BUT WITH THE WARRANTY I reached out to the company and they were very cooperative and very helpful! After showing my order and explaining and sending a video to the company, they reviewed it and are sending a replacement! They are HIGHLY recommended! Quick to respond also!

I initially bought this as a mother's Day gift and it worked AMAZINGLY for 3 months, then suddenly started making a horrible sound and wouldn't produce ice. Amazon didn't have the correct customer service info then, so I was SOL until recently. I reached out and even though a lot of time had passed, they were able to help me. I was so happy because this was not an insignificant purchase for me! A week ago the new ice maker arrived. There was some oil on the side (probably from getting jostled in transport) so I wiped it, ran the machine through cleaning mode, and so far, it's been really good. It makes a nice amount of nugget ice pretty quickly. It's heavy, but I can easily bring it to the sink to drain. Push a button to make ice. Hold the button to clean. It's very easy to use. I really hope this one holds up because $200 for 3-6 months of ice is way too pricey.

I bought this ice machine, not knowing what to expect. Our ice maker on our fridge went out. So I was buying sonic ice. But I had seen these that make crushed ice. And thought I would like to try one. But they were very expensive. But then I seen this one with $50.00 off and decided to try it. It's great. It will pay for it's self in a few months, of not buying ice from sonic.it makes a good amount of ice each day. And it only took about 5 mins to start making ice the 1st time. It has a signal that lets you know when to add water and when its full of ice.It's very easy to operate and it makes good ice. It's a bit noisy sometimes. But nothing to loud. It fits on top of my counter perfectly. It's a good little machine and worth the money. And I don't give a lot of good reviews. Thumbs up! Updated 01/19/25 my ice machine went completely out. I cleaned it again thinking this would fix it. But it did not. So in the pamphlet that came with the machine, was a phone number. I called customer service and the things I had to do. 1st take a video of it after showing the time. 2nd plug it in and 24 mins later take more video of the machine, had to video the front of machine then show the water inside the machine, then put my hand by the fan on the side of it and say if it was blowing hot cold or no air. Then video the back of machine. So I did everything I was ask to do. The next day I got a text asking me for the order # again. I sent a text back with the # but I ask how long the process took to receive a new unit ? I was told 3 to 4 business days to go over my warranty options and then they will let me know something. I jump through hoops to get all this info to them. And I still don't know if they are going to replace the machine . I have not even had this machine for a year. So I'm not so sure about this being a great deal after all.

Cowsar customer service is AWESOME!! I bought my ice maker about 10 months ago and after 24/7 use, it started having problems making ice. This was a world ending event for me, because I love the soft ice I get from the machine! I contacted Cowsar using their Service email. I received an immediate email response from a human, with suggestions to get her going again. These suggestions didn’t work so they asked for a video, while they prepared to send me a replacement. My replacement arrived 2 days later. It has been a long time since I have had such a positive customer service experience. This is how you keep customers loyal!! P.S. I wish they had a travel model:-)
