Thank you so much Gloria! back to having my favorite ice This ice maker was fantastic for the first 6 months. It made ice quickly, was easy to use, and looked great on the counter. I was genuinely impressed and really enjoyed using it daily. Unfortunately, it suddenly stopped working. It still powers on and makes loud noises like it’s trying to make ice, but nothing ever comes out. I’ve tried cleaning and restarting it, but nothing helps. It’s disappointing, especially since I took good care of it and expected it to last longer. I really loved this product while it worked, and I wish it had held up better over time.

Purchased July 2024, worked great. Most reviews said it was loud, not gonna lie, it’s noisy, so I placed it in my pantry and all was well, even though I could still hear it. It got louder and louder until all I got was an extremely loud buzzing sound, louder than my smoke alarm. Afraid it would catch fire, ( outside was extremely hot to touch) I unplugged it and haven’t used it since. I’ve contacted the company for a replacement, left a message. They returned my call within 5 minutes, texted me instructions to clean the ice maker with vinegar and purified water x3. Will update after this is done. Update: I cleaned the ice maker as instructed, it got worse and stopped making ice. I sent a video to the company showing the water in the reservoir and the machine on and all it would do was squealing noises. They texted me back and asked if I wanted a replacement, I had it within 3 days. Great customer service! Update: I followed the cleaning instructions, and the ice maker is working like a boss. Would upgrade to 4 stars if I could. Customer service was great.

This is the ice maker that makes GE Opal over priced ice maker look like a waste of money. This makes the soft chewable ice that you get at Sonic. It will shut off after the sensor believes it is full. However, just move the pyramid over and the unit starts right back up. Easy fill for water and easy clean/drain. Makes ice quickly.

Worked great at first. There is no tilt mechanism built into it so all the ice accumulates where it drops down and you constantly are having to shovel it forward so that the ice can continue making. You never get a full bin. After seven months it started making a grinding, squealing noise and quit working all together. Update 10-9-24 Contacted the manufacturer via Amazon’s webpage and they sent through several steps with me to fix that did not change anything. They sent me a brand new machine at no cost. Hopefully this one doesn’t have the same issues. Updating rating based on sellers communication and honest replacement.

The media could not be loaded. I had no idea that you could get this kind of ice at home. My second little ice maker. First one makes bigger cubes. I love love love this ice maker. I will never be without it again. That being said. It makes plenty of ice for two. It does make noise when making ice but it’s not annoying or that loud in any way. Easy to operate. It lets you know when it needs more water. Perfect for margaritas at home. Best thing I’ve ever ordered from Amazon. I use it multiple times a day. We purchased when our refrigerator went out and we had weeks until the repair guy could get to us. Then had a 2nd compresser put in frig so we had to have an ice backup. Like much better than our refrigerator ice. This ice gets a 10. Soft ice.

I have bought 2 of this exact ice maker. The first I purchased from the Tik Tok shop. It stopped working within 6 months, but I loved the ice so much, I found the same brand on Amazon and purchased it again. This one I have had less than a year and it leaks (not through the plug but somewhere else from the machine) and the ice vanishes in the unit. Love the ice, do not like the dependability of this machine. I've got well over $300 invested in the product and zero ability to have ice. I do the cleaning and all the things required to keep it functioning.

I bought this ice machine, not knowing what to expect. Our ice maker on our fridge went out. So I was buying sonic ice. But I had seen these that make crushed ice. And thought I would like to try one. But they were very expensive. But then I seen this one with $50.00 off and decided to try it. It's great. It will pay for it's self in a few months, of not buying ice from sonic.it makes a good amount of ice each day. And it only took about 5 mins to start making ice the 1st time. It has a signal that lets you know when to add water and when its full of ice.It's very easy to operate and it makes good ice. It's a bit noisy sometimes. But nothing to loud. It fits on top of my counter perfectly. It's a good little machine and worth the money. And I don't give a lot of good reviews. Thumbs up! Updated 01/19/25 my ice machine went completely out. I cleaned it again thinking this would fix it. But it did not. So in the pamphlet that came with the machine, was a phone number. I called customer service and the things I had to do. 1st take a video of it after showing the time. 2nd plug it in and 24 mins later take more video of the machine, had to video the front of machine then show the water inside the machine, then put my hand by the fan on the side of it and say if it was blowing hot cold or no air. Then video the back of machine. So I did everything I was ask to do. The next day I got a text asking me for the order # again. I sent a text back with the # but I ask how long the process took to receive a new unit ? I was told 3 to 4 business days to go over my warranty options and then they will let me know something. I jump through hoops to get all this info to them. And I still don't know if they are going to replace the machine . I have not even had this machine for a year. So I'm not so sure about this being a great deal after all.
