I can only speak on my recent experience. On arrival when opening I received the item with a dent, inside the fridge it does have a chemical smell. I’m hoping that disappears soon. Noise levels are quiet at moments, can get loud if you’re planning to have this in your room. The negative at the moment. What’s the positive of owning this than you ask? The size of the mini fridge itself; Slim and compact, making it easy to place in smaller rooms (Always measure your space before purchasing) and having a height to allow you to add more items to hold inside. I put carbonated drinks inside, I’ll see if it can keep them nice and cold as I test the temperature to see what works (Default is at two). Came with some small scratches and tiny dents at the bottom left corner. Plugged it into my solar battery today, swapped everything inside my old tiny fridge into it. I got this mini refrigerator to use in my garage for cold drinks or extra gallons of milk and seed stratification. The refrigerator arrived without any damage and after waiting a few days it was plugged in. We have had it for several months now, and I wanted to give it a proper review. We hardly use the freezer part but do keep several ice trays in there, and yes, it freezes ice as expected. It does not hold a lot because it is small, but could easily hold a half gallon of ice cream or novelty ice creams. I like the textured black of the outside because it doesn’t show dirt or fingerprints as easily and looks clean all the time. The noise level is minimal and I barely hear it running. It keeps our drinks cold a d whatever else we have in there and has been a good addition to our garage. I really like the ease of having it in our garage, as our house is located across the street. It does everything it's supposed to and is a good size for our purposes, and therefore a good value. If I needed another one, I would purchase again. ... show more
