My doctor actually referred me to Birkenstocks for my arch issue and metatarsal issue ( with a side of your pain from recent plantar fasciitis). The company instructs you to wear these a minimum of two hours a day the first few days to allow your feet to become accustomed to the support. I found that.: 1. The pain in my heel from the plantar fasciitis was gone after a couple of weeks I tried to sneak back to my regular sandals, and the pain came back. Switched over to my Birkenstocks, Pain was gone the next morning. Wow!! 2. No more metatarsal pain no more ankle pain no more hip/ back pain! I believe these all were issues relating to the metatarsal and arch. 3 I was so reluctant because I thought this would be clunky , Hippie shoes, but I was inspired by the new styles, which have dinner straps, and looks super cute. I have since bought two other pair, and I am loving them! 4. My doctor was correct, these shoes have resolved My issues! Highly recommend for anyone who has metatarsal, plantar fascitis, fallen arch, or hip and back pain. Love these shoes!

I was never a lover of birkenstock product, because I just didn't like their price, but after my knee surgery, i bought a pair from Macy because I had a gift card, i kept them for a while before wearing them, but once i started wearing the sandals, they were so comfortable, I found my self budgeting for almost a year to get all the color I wanted. They are great support and they look great with long skirt and shorts. My only disappointment was that they stop make the style i like in red. I have search heaven and earth looking for a pair of red in a size 10 and cannot find them anywhere. I told my self no more until they bring the red back, but I would say if you want a good pair sandal get a pair of birkenstock and if you find color you like get them before they disappear.

This is a narrow fit of a standard Birkenstock sandal. They are very difficult to find, but they fit me very well (my feet are medium but on the narrow end of that). They also look much more svelte and less clunky than regular Birkenstocks and my feet don't swim around in them. I wish Birkenstock would stock the narrow fit in more styles and sizes.

The media could not be loaded. I’m not sure what’s going on with these shoes. They are very little. They’re supposed to be a woman’s size 10. I think they might be a woman’s size 6. Also, they’re dirty and worn. Fortunately, I received a full refund.
