This cookware is lightweight but sturdy cast aluminum. I have the 11 piece gray set and have been using them for a couple of months. I have been pretty rough on them to see what they can take. I have used them on my gas stove with metal utensils, scrambled eggs with a fork and popped them into a 400° oven. The handles get pretty warm on top of the stove, but its gas so ALL cookware handles do. So far no discoloration on the handles from heat. I bought the gray with white specs. I have made spaghetti sauce many times and the white specks are still white. I like them so well I bought the cream set for a family member as a gift. ... show more

This set is perfect for a starter set or for a college apartment. It’s really pretty and super functional and nothing really sticks at all. The only reason I wouldn’t give all 5 stars is that the handles get insanely hot, like unbearable and I’m concerned about the material it’s made of getting that hot haha very nice set ... show more

The set is nice but the lid that goes on the 4qt pot does mot fit, it's too big. I would have given the set a five if all the parts had fit properly.
