As soon as I saw these chairs I liked the look but my #1 concern was COMFORT especially since we needed 4 chairs. We were a bit hesitant ordering this online but after reading pretty much all the reviews we'd thought we'd give it a try & can always return if we don't like them. I usually like to sit on my furniture, chairs in person because sometimes the pictures look like they're comfortable but they're not. Let me tell you EVERYTHING you read that's positive about these chairs are SO TRUE! VERY VERY comfortable (which was #1 for me!) and the material is soooo soooo soooo soft - if it were a couch, I'd fall asleep on it - it's that soft! it looks like rough material but it's soft yet VERY durable - not cheap looking or cheap feeling at all! Actually I think they look like we spent a lot more $$ on these! The swivel is soooo smooth & no noise at all VERY VERY smooth & can swivel all the way around. The style is really really nice with the wood legs and something I wasn't expecting I really like is the bar you put your feet on (foot rest) it's black metal but does NOT show any dirt from shoes (something other stools seem to show). The price well that says it all- such a great price for VERY COMFORTABLE, DURABLE, STURDY AND STYLISH chairs. I'm extremely happy we bought these. If I didn't like them, I would have returned them and not even bother writing this review (I would have written a bad review). Now on the install part. Hubby is very mechanically inclined, very handy with tools etc...(he's woodworker by trade) and he said it was easy to put together - the instructions were good, he just said it was time consuming but remember we bought 4 chairs so that can be expected. He even said he can tell they're made very well and that says alot for someone who's picky about furniture and sturdiness etc ... Can't say enough about how happy we are with these chairs!!! Don't hesitate! Yes it is very good to be true for once!

The set of two arrived with a whole host of parts but they were labeled and separated so easy to understand. Was able to assemble the first chair but it wasn't easy. However I couldn't get the second chair to go together (the base of the swivel and legs). The two parts that should come together would not and I finally realized I had two of the same part instead of two different parts. I took pictures, sent a note to the seller and they replied that they would send me new parts. They arrived fairly quickly but these "new" parts had obvious problems. The screw holes were ragged and some of them would not allow the screw head to sink down into the hole to attach the legs. In addition the legs would not fit into these "new" parts as they should. I requested a refund and return of the set (I would disassemble the one chair). However, their solution was to refund me for one chair and not return anything to them. Sorry I had ordered these and hoping my brother has the right tools to maybe be able to grind out the screw holes so the legs can be attached and grind off the top of the legs so they fit into they attach to the base. I have one very nice looking chair at my peninsula ... wish I had two. Can't afford to buy another set so hoping for the best. Sorry I can't recommend buying these as the quality of the parts is very much lacking. Amended Review: Was very surprised to receive message from seller shortly after posting my initial review. They said they were sending me a new chair. I was not expecting this at all since they had refunded me for one chair (the one that had poor quality parts). I received the chair very quickly and was able to assemble it within 10 minutes. I am so very impressed with the positive outcome this company persisted in making happen. The chairs are high quality, comfortable and fit perfectly in my kitchen. I would definitely recommend buying from this seller as they will guarantee their product.

Arrived on time and well packed. Good instructions and very easy to assemble.... I'm a 73 yr old female and assembled 2 stools in an hour. Quality is great. My only comment is that a 16" seat depth isn't very deep if you have long legs. I'm 5'8" with a 31" inseam. The stool is comfortable, but hits the back of my legs about 4" above my knee. When you lean back it feels like I'm sliding off. My old stools are 18" deep and I didn't think the 2" difference would matter.... It does. Still keeping them on the "guest side" of the peninsula for my shorter friends and family since they are really nice and a great price. But I'll continue to use my old stools for now.
