Customer service reached out to me and after a few emails back and forth and me submitting an image they shipped a new lamp yesterday and it arrived today. It's super cute, everything was manufactured properly on this one and it's sitting in my office now. I’m so disappointed in this lamp. I was SO excited to use it in my office (my office mate has one similar), but in assembling it - the stand isn’t firm against the base. It twists everywhere. I am not sure if a piece is missing or what. Also, I was very bummed at how bright it is (I’m weird, I know) - we use lamps in our office because the fluorescent light KILLS. But this is almost just as bad because it’s SO bright. I tried two different bulbs and neither made a difference. I wish it had a dimmer (my office mates does and it’s so nice). I literally just got bulbs yesterday and now it’s past my return date. I’m sure I’ll find another use for it, but I’m bummed because I was just so excited about it. ... show more

These little lamps look exactly like the photo. The only reason I put 4 instead of 5 stars is because it doesn't hold firm and sometimes the body will wiggle so its not lined up with the base. Also, it came with PLASTIC light bulbs. Yikes. Overall though, I like this product and I'm happy with it.
