Once assembled this is a solid, sturdy frame and attractive design - just as advertised. As a single, small (100 lbs, 5'2") person, it took me several hours to put together - lets just say twice as long as the longest time mentioned in previous reviews. I took the advice "Be patient" - took my time, spent time just staring at the instructions which were a bit vague on direction of the brackets but otherwise not too bad. I'm glad I did not tighten the bolts until the end as noted in the instructions because the frame doesn't square-up until the final steps. Well worth the price and the effort. ... show more

I was a little bummed that the shipping was so expensive, but I think it is worth it. My father and I put it together in about 2-3 hours. We were confused on a couple of parts when the instructions were a little vague, but we figured it out. Having two people will definitely help. The LED lights are so cool, and the metal bars are great. My last bed was from IKEA; it had wood slats on a metal frame. They would constantly slide around and was such a pain to wash my sheets. I can tell this will make laundry day easier. The really cool and convenient part is charging your devices. I can also keep track of my Roku remote which I always lose in my bedding. I only put it together today, so time will tell. I’ll update if there are any issues. So happy so far. ... show more

took a while to get together but sturdy and meets expectations for a <$200 bed. led strips seems frail so i'll see how that holds up, but the kid i gave it to is smitten. overall would recommend. just allow 90+ minutes to assemble. ...and dont tighten until complete!
