I just bought a new mattress and needed a zippered cover to protect it. This does the job well. I have a full size mattress and it fit perfectly. I will be buying another 2 mattresses next year and will be buying these for them. I feel if it’s not zippered, it’s not doing the job.

That this cover is lightweight, encases the entire mattress, and zippers is great. It was relatively easy to put on, and is soft. That being said, it is so soft that our sheets no longer stay on in the corners, which can be helped by using bed sheet fasteners. Also, somehow the entire cover billows underneath the sheet routinely.

I purchased 2 other products from a different brand - the first the zipper was horrible, second was so plasticky it was horrible and the static from it was intense, every time you'd move your leg, you'd see blue static under the covers. Insert these covers - PERFECTION. Soft, quality, and the zippers are great and with a nice easy texture. And they're for sure waterproof. Once zipped it's actually somewhat hard to get the extra air out so they're sealed for sure. I've ordered sets for every bed in the cabin. I feel confident that these are going to last for a few years as well as the material feel thick and not like some of the other brands. There is a very slight smell on the pillowcases, but it goes away after a day or 2 of being used. Didn't bother me at all. If you're looking for waterproofing and keeping your mattresses in good shape from mildew these seem to do the trick very nicely.

I have bought numerous items from Cozy House. This is my second purchase of the zipped encasement. The one's I currently own are still like new! That's quality. My pillow size changed from a standard to queen size in the guest bedroom. The feel is amazing. They are soft, easy to slip your pillow into and there's none of that crunching some protectors can make. If you follow the care instructions they will last quite awhile. Can't recommend Cozy House enough

Right out of the package I took a small cup of water to test this encasement. The top layer is 100% waterproof and did not leak underneath. Note that the top has an absorbent layer that sucked up the water and contained the spill in that area. So I would imagine any liquid spill would not ruin the mattress underneath but you could stain the encasement. I tested the seams where the top and sides meet and it is not waterproof. Slightly resistant but it was wet underneath on the sides and seam. I found this highly disappointing and the advertisement intentionally misleading. I used about 2-3 tablespoons of water so it was not a flood and it was definitely wet. I am considering of getting a can of ScotchGuard water repellent to do the sides and seams since the encasement seems nice otherwise. The material is soft and quiet so high marks for that. But it seems a little thin so I am unsure how well it will hold up after a few washes. We are planning to put a mattress topper and fitted sheet on top so it won't need to get removed & washed very often so I am hopefully it will last. Zipper seems ok. Bottomline: Recommend with reservations -- if you can plan to spill on the top only it's great; otherwise get some water repellent fabric spray and it will be fine.
