  • Perfect after surgery recovery
Size: Large Color: Black
I'm a 2X breast cancer survivor and have had 5 breast surgeries (among other surgeries). I say that so it's understood that I have had to wear my fair share of compression garmets. I originally bought this for use after diep flap surgery (breast surgery #4) but it didn't seem right when I attempted to put it on. It seemed too small and too hard to put on. I felt it would have hurt the healing incisions on my stomach just trying to get it on. Also those incisions required daily care and i had drains to deal with at first. Fast forward 3 months later to my revision surgery and it is perfect. This surgery involved fat graphing to the breast using fat liposuctioned from the abdomen and saddlebag area. 1 day after surgery I am comfortable and i feel well compressed in my whole abdomen area (I have a long torso). Going to the bathroom hasn't been too bad either. I just unhook the clasps and go. I have been hooking only 2 of the 3 clasps down there. The only thing that makes it a little difficult for me is I don't have all of my arm range of motion from prior surgeries but I still make it work. After using the restroom, I pull the back flap forward as much as I can and then hook it to the front flap. With all my other compression garmets usually I become uncomfortable somewhere or I don't feel properly compressed where I need to be. A couple of my good ones seem to cut into the top of my inner thigh after a few hours. This one has been so comfortable. The nurse told me to bring my compression garmet to surgery and they will put it on me afterwards. So I woke up from surgery with this garmet on yesterday morning. I noticed the right side shoulder strap was on twisted on both my compression garmet and bra (most of the work was done on the right side). I was starting to correct it and straighten them out but thought it might have been done on purpose so I left it that way. After seeing some of the comments complaining about straps cutting into their shoulder, im starting to think it's why they did my straps this way. The whole strap cannot cut into my shoulder now. I don't know for sure if that's why they twisted those straps but i thought i'd pass it along in hopes that it helps someone else with that issue. Before and after diep flap surgery I was 5'6 and 181 pounds. My measurements before yesterday's revision surgery was 40-35-43. I was on the border of both size large and XL but I'm really glad I had the large for this surgery. Luckily it was a perfect fit but if it was any tighter it wouldn't have worked. I hardly ever write reviews but as I'm sitting here comfortably 1 day after surgery (with nothing else to do lol) I felt i should share my experience with this garmet since it's not rated 5 stars. That held me back from purchasing it for months and then when I did it wasn't right for the first surgery 3 months ago but it was perfect for this surgery. I'm glad i didn't rate this back then. Sometimes a garmet isn't the right one for certain situations but it doesn't mean it isn't perfect for others. If after washing and wearing this again it holds up well, I will be purchasing another one. As of now this is a 5 star item for me ... show more

  • Comfy+amazing + not insecure+ could size down
Size: Large Color: Beige
As someone who’s very insecure especially after loosing 60+ lbs this makes so so happy I would size down its tight but not so tight where it hurts and it’s comfy leaves u with perfect shape and opens in the bottom to go the bathroom. It’s going to look small and unable to zipper but u have to trust the process! Overall amazing support and just buy it!!! ... show more

  • It's supportive and comfortable, but you may want to size down to get that snatched waist.
Size: 3X-Large Color: Beige
Recovering from bi-lateral with DIEP-flap reconstruction and looking for post-surgery garments for Stage 2 & 3 & beyond for support and shaping. Pros: It's comfortable, though I probably could have sized down, so FYI on the sizing chart, I felt it ran a bit large (got 3xl as per chart, but definitely could go down a size). But it did the job, was a bit softer/looser than the compression belt given by the hospital, which was somewhat of a relief in that way, yet still felt very supported. It held my bandages in well (I still have a couple of places I need them). I was able to use it for sleeping, which was nice. Also like that I was able to wear my own cotton bra with it. Overall it does the job. Great tummy control and a feelinf of support and security for me while still being comfortable. Cons: I don't care for the straps, with a bra it's just too many straps for me. Also when I went for my long daily walk, the crotch area where the "lace" is rubbed against the bend in my thighs and I could feel the hooks there as well, which was irritating. The "lace" itself is actually where they have silicon to help make it stay on your legs/butt area, but for me it was uncomfortable. I'm allergic to latex so that may be it. That all being said, it did the job well and for sleeping in or just hanging around the house or going somewhere wher you're not moving a lot, it works. However, there's others I like better, especially those without straps. ... show more

  • Best shape wear for tummy flattening
Size: XX-Large Color: Beige
I love everything about this. It does not move around as you move about. I've worn it on 4 or 5 occasions already. It sucks the tummy in and gives your chest an attractive lift, without overdoing it. Its also easy to put on. Its corset like in the front, with a zipper to hold it all in. I am able to put it on by myself, it's not tricky like some other body wear. I've never worn it with a very light colored dress (not white, but light enough that a bra not nude colored would be ). I've worn it with tight dresses and never had an issue with the outline of the shapewear being seen. The only thing this will not work well for is tube top / completely sleeveless dresses or tops. The top unhooks from the back on both sides, but not from the front. I originally ordered an XL and couldn't fit and ordered XXL. I am 5'2-5'3 and 220-235 pounds ... show more

  • From Taming Curves to a Few Learning Curves: An Honest Review of SHAPERX Shapewear 🌟🌟🌟
Size: Medium Color: Black
Embarking on my journey with SHAPERX Shapewear, I felt a blend of curiosity and high expectations. I can confidently say that while the product has positively impacted my clothing experience, it still leaves some room for enhancements. It’s not just a garment; it’s a confidence booster, yet one with limitations. My review comprises commendations for its strong suits and friendly suggestions for areas of improvement. 👗🌹 Seamless Design and Body Sculpting: Tailoring a New You: The first thing to note is the shapewear’s ability to offer effective tummy control and body sculpting. I felt transformed, and the seamless design allowed me to wear it under a variety of outfits without giving away my little secret. 👚🦋 Zipper-Open Bust: Functionality Meets Convenience: What stands out is the zipper-open bust design, providing ease for getting in and out of the shapewear. This feature adds a layer of practicality that is often missing in other brands. 🌬️👍 Breathability: The Unsung Hero: The fabric is impressively breathable, making extended wear comfortable. Whether I was at a social gathering or a business meeting, I didn’t feel suffocated, an attribute that sets this product apart from competitors. 💪💃 Good Support, Yet Slight Constraints: The Balance of Sculpting and Comfort: The shapewear does provide remarkable support, particularly around the abdomen. However, it tends to be a bit constricting around the thighs and hips. While effective, it does somewhat compromise comfort during longer durations of wear. 👕🎨 Fabric Quality: The Double-Edged Sword: Although the fabric feels comfortable against the skin, it lacks in durability. A few wash cycles in, and I started noticing some fraying and loose threads. This area could certainly use improvement. 📏🤷 Sizing: The Achilles’ Heel: The size chart is somewhat misleading. I’d recommend future customers to carefully consider their measurements before making a purchase, as I found it to run a bit snug compared to standard sizes. Given the highs and the lows, I find it fitting to give SHAPERX Shapewear a 3-star rating 🌟🌟🌟. The product excels in many areas like design, breathability, and functionality but falls short when it comes to fabric durability and sizing. To everyone contemplating a purchase, this shapewear will bring you close to the body confidence you seek, but be mindful of its limitations. I hope this comprehensive review assists you in your decision-making process. Here’s to feeling confident and beautiful, one garment at a time! 🥂💖 ... show more

  • ME ENCANTO!! / get the right size
Size: Large Color: Black
I am 5’2” 170lb with 36G bra. I love this! I’m so excited to wear it. I’ve seen a lot of comments saying that you need to go up a size; however if you want the true, Hispanic fit of this faja you need to stay at your regular size. It is meant to be a bit smaller than you for that true tight compression. Yes it is a bitch to get on and you may break out in a light sweat by the end. HOWEVER once it is on, you will be snatched to infinity and beyond. The material is amazing. And I can already tell it’s gonna be much more breathable than my last faja. While it is extremely tight, it is not restrictive. I can still bend over sit down and do everything I need to do! So happy with my purchase! ... show more

  • Shaper, shaped me well
Size: Large Color: Black
I’m 5’5, 202lbs, I bought a large. The shaper fits perfectly. I did exactly what I need it to do. It was very comfortable. Went on easily. Only needed help to pull up in the back. I like the fact that I was able to wear a bra with it also and I could support my breast with bra.

  • Great Shapewear but I Recommend Sizing Up Great Shapewear but I Recommend Sizing Up
Size: Large Color: Black
I really liked this shapewear overall. It definitely gives good compression and helps smooth everything out, especially around the waist and stomach area. When I put it on, it instantly gave a more snatched look under my dress. The material feels strong and supportive, which is what you want with shapewear. It holds everything in place without feeling cheap or flimsy. My only suggestion would be to consider sizing up. The compression is pretty strong, so going up one size might make it more comfortable for longer wear while still giving good shaping. Pros: • Strong tummy control • Smooths and shapes nicely • Good quality material Cons: • Runs a little tight • May want to size up for comfort Overall it does exactly what shapewear is supposed to do and works great under dresses if you want a more sculpted look. ... show more
