This nugget ice maker has been working for me for a while now, and overall I am satisfied with its performance. First and foremost, this machine makes those chewable cubes; it comes in handy in my dorm when I want my drinks cold since it takes so little space in my room. PROS: It produces ice pretty quickly. Usually, I get enough ice cubes for 4 servings in about 20 minutes. It's pretty simple to use; you just plug it in and use it. My personal fav is the self cleaning function, easy to use and clean. CONS: This ice maker generates quite some heat while producing ice cubes. May become an issue for those who use it in rooms without good AC.

This ice maker is absolutely amazing! 👍 It has a sleek and modern design that doesn’t take up much space on the countertop, and the build quality feels great. It’s very easy to use—just one button to start, and it produces ice quickly, which is perfect for everyday use. The ice it makes is cleaner and has no odor, even better than the ice from my fridge. The ice cubes come out clear and fresh, making them perfect for cold drinks, coffee, or entertaining guests during the summer. The noise level is also very reasonable and not bothersome at all. I had to come back & change my review on this unit after owning it for a couple years. Initially I liked over other models with the square cubes as all the round or cylinder shaped ones with the holes in them melt away super fast & water down your drinks. This one was great for the first year but since then it requires frequent cleanings which are incredibly difficult with the design of them, you really can't take them apart. I kept finding tiny metal fragments in the bottom of the bin, I went through several metal ice scoopers thinking I was buying junk ones & they were flaking off. Then I discovered it was coming from the condensing coil on the unit, no way fix or replace that so I had to junk it & buy a new one. Why is everything they make these days disposable junk??? You should either buy the cheapest ones knowing they are disposable after a year or two or buy the top of the line with a long warranty.

This is an amazing little machine! Continuously produces ice as long as you keep the tank full . Great little nuggets of ice are available with about 20 minutes. Love this and would strongly recommend!

It’s a good little ice machine. The ice it makes is perfect size, not much noise and doesn’t melt quickly in your drink however the machine doesn’t keep the ice cold and even if it’s fresh and frozen when you transfer it to the freezer it still freezes together into one big block so you can’t use it. Wish I’d have found a machine that keeps the ice in it frozen. You can buy a small refrigerator for the same price so I’m disappointed that this can’t freeze! So I give it no stars for value for money.

After more than a year of dealing with a horrible ice maker in my refrigerator, I was fed up with the constant need to de-ice and wait forever for just a few cubes. When I started my research for a portable ice cube maker, I knew I wanted an actual cube shape, rather than bullet or pebble. Am I the only one who loves the square cubes you get in most restaurants? Not wanting one more thing on my kitchen counter, I originally thought I would keep it in my basement so I wasn't overly concerned about the size. Turns out, I don't mind it in the kitchen, but I do wish it was slightly smaller in form factor. However, I'm willing to sacrifice that for the performance factor and ease of filling (it's right next to my filtered water). Please note that my review is based on about a month's worth of use. I use filtered water, which produced a semi-clear cube for me (I live in WI and must use a water softener), that is far superior to the super cloudy ice produced by my refrigerator (both my current one and previous one). In my ice-making tests, I prefer to add 4 minutes to the cube-making process to create a thick cube. I do have to break up the ice before storing in my freezer. It's a minor thing for me and actually serves as a slight stress release. I use the included scooper to break things up. Since the weather has warmed up, we're going through a lot more ice (hello ice tea!) so I run it every 3 days or so. I tend to set my watch timer for 30-60 minutes so I don't forget to remove the ice for storage. While it sounds like a lot of monitoring, it's really not a big deal if I'm already going to be home. After each use, I wipe down the machine and drain the reservoir about every 2 uses. While bulky, it's light enough for me to bring it to the sink to do so. Because I have harder water, I also wipe it down with vinegar to remove any buildup. All the effort it worth it to me. The machine makes a lot of ice, the shape is great, it does not melt very quickly, and the cubes look fantastic in a cocktail! :) Hoping this thing has some longevity, but so far, so good.

Love the ice and it makes a lot. That being said the alarms for full and for add water beep incessantly!! If it's not one it's the other. A few beeps would be sufficient. It's a great machine and makes a ton of ice. But, we have to turn it on and off all the time and there is no way to save accumulated ice. We did try freezing it, but it froze in a big clump. I do love the ice!
