I purchased this AC for my sons room where he is renting and sometimes gets too hot. It worked great the first couple of nights, but I don't believe it was intended to be run constantly. does not work well if you live in the phoenix area in the summer when its 110 degrees outside. when the inside temp is 106 degrees inside my rv this ac unit only blows hot air when it's in the cool settings. in order for this unit to work and cool off the rv is when the temperature inside the rv is below 93. this portable air conditioner has a nice feature，the air filter. it cools down the room very quick and with very little noise. I used to have a window unit which is much louder than this one.
