I purchased this AC for my sons room where he is renting and sometimes gets too hot. It worked great the first couple of nights, but I don't believe it was intended to be run constantly. You definitely get your moneys worth with this product. It doesn't cool the entire home but it will cool an entire living room and make it feel like an ice box which is great for the summer weather. The media could not be loaded. I generally like having a couple of this type if air conditioner handy for HVAC and outage conditions. These are a relative bargain for their output and relatively quiet to more expensive units I have previously owned. You can direct the duct out a window or into an exterior space easily. The remote could be handy for elderly or handicapped, but I find the buttons on the unit easy enough to use and see settings. The unit is currently keeping my home office cool during a record heat wave. This is a very handy unit for an emergency or sitution where fixed window unit is not practical. ... show more

My only beef is that you can move the vent part side to side only up and down. And it blows out air to the left. Not sure if it’s supposed to do that?
