The benches and table arrived in 2 separate packages and on different days. Initially I was concerned, when the table arrived, but not the benches. I contacted customer service, and they explained that the 2nd package with the benches was on the way. Customer service was very responsive to me. The set is super easy to assemble. I only needed to attach the metal legs to each piece of furniture. The screws, washers, and tools (plus extra screws) were in the boxes. I am a 63-year-old woman and managed to finish in 30 minutes. The benches are very comfortable. I read some of the reviews that addressed sturdiness (mainly the corner where the two benches are hooked together). Since I did not need the small bench, I took one of the legs from it and placed it under the spot where the corner benches are hooked together (see picture with red arrow). This is just a pro-active measure and may not be necessary. But it gives me peace of mind. I was able to pair my old chairs with the bench set, and I can now seat 6 people comfortably. All in all, I am very happy with the furniture, and I can't wait to hold my next coffee klatsch with my friends. ... show more

Do not buy this. It seems like it nice, but it is poorly made and too expensive to be made so cheaply. I brought this and the medal is starting to poke out of the seats, the screws drop right of the legs of the table and the seat comes apart. You can honestly find something much better for the money. I’ve been searching for the perfect kitchen nook for a while….and I couldn’t be happier! Super easy to put together I did it by myself in about 30 minutes. Looks very nice, and super comfy. The set did come in 2 separate boxes on 2 different days, so don’t take apart your old set like I did and end up with no where to sit for a few days. I have 2 baseboard heaters on the walls but it fit around them no problem. Very happy would def recommend. ... show more

Excellent for smaller spaces. Affordable and very easy to assemble. Created additional comfy seating in our dining/living area. I had read in another review that the corner felt like it needed more support than the legs provided but we haven’t sensed that. Great for meals, projects, working, etc.
