This thing is great for the price. Even though we have to fill the tank ourselves- we have a water cooler in the garage with filtered water and I just fill up a jug and use that to fill the tank. Holds about 8 cups each time. Usually gave to refill once a day. The ice is really nice- we’ve been using the small setting and I love how it crunches. Ha ha we use it only to dispense/make ice and then I fill the cup with water using our other cooler so the machine is only being utilized for the ice function. It’s a little loud but I don’t mind. The stupid machine broke after about seven months. The seller will not respond to any messages, and when you call the manufacturer to have them honor the warranty they punt it back to the seller. When you call Amazon to get help, they punt it to either the manufacturer or the seller. So basically you're out a couple hundred bucks after 7 stupid months with a noisy ice maker, and you have three ruined cookbooks because the stupid thing leaked all over your kitchen. And then you get to spend over a month with no ice, getting either ignored completely or getting the runaround from 3 different sources until you finally break down and buy a different machine,so now you're out even more money. Don't waste your time or money. This is a subpar product, from a company with horrible customer service sold by a seller who doesn't even respond to messages and sold on a site that provides zero support when you try to stop the first two from happening. ... show more

We had an ice machine that we loved, but opted to replace it for a different one, thinking it might be even better! We gave away the first, made room for this one, and only experienced a few days of wonderful ice. The ice began to dwindle to smaller and smaller pieces of ice, despite following all directions in the manual. It currently “thinks” it’s making ice - it’s “working” - filling the ice tray with water, “freezing” it, and then dumping the imaginary non existent ice into the ice bin, while really what is happening is it’s tossing water back and forth. Even the display face says it’s making ice, and dispensing it - there are no error messages. I’m disappointed, because we had a good thing and sacrificed it for THIS one. It’s only been 12 days and I would’ve complained sooner but I’ve been sick for weeks! Update: seller provided a full refund without even requiring that we go through the hassle of returning the product. I was so disappointed - but I am definitely appreciative of the ease of this process. I did not request a refund necessarily, but am pleased with the service I received and the unexpected refund. I have seen other positive reviews which influenced my order, so perhaps it was just a fluke to have received a faulty machine. Thank you to the company for your help and service. ... show more

The ice sizes were good for the first three years. Then they got deformed and smaller before it quit. The taste was great because I use alkaline water. I didn't have problems with cleaning until the end either. I do recommend this and I am going to replace it with another one. My biggest problem is waiting over a week for the new one. ... show more

Our last Costway we bought in June 2020 and we like it but this new 2 in1 caught our attention so we ordered it. It arrived early but even unpacking it we were disappointed. This counter top ice maker/water dispenser I chose has really disappointed me. It does make ice, But....., I've had it up and running now for 3 full days and it has Not Yet produced 36 lbs of ice this entire time, much less within 24 hours. So far, all I've been able to get out of it is (3) (three) hefty disposable plastic drinking glasses full of ice in 72 hours! Only! Nowhere even close to 36 lbs! And the large ice cubes are very small, about the size of a Small Marble. It is Nothing like I Expected or Read in the description of it. And to think I almost bought ice bags too, to use to put the remaining ice I didn't use. What size were they going to be? The size of a red hefty plastic disposable drinking glass? I Never like to return things I've purchased because it's such an inconvenience and hassle, so I'm keeping the thing. I'm not even sure Now If Any of the other types and brands of countertop ice makers can actually Do what they state and advertise that they can do. I definitely would not suggest anyone to purchase This ice maker. And I Really Hate to give a bad review on Any Product. And it Has to be a Really bad and/or disappointing purchase. I now have a countertop ice maker, (that I've Really been Wanting really bad) and it's a Waste Of Money. This will make 10 cubes every 7 minutes. It is an ice maker, not an ice holder. As the cubes melt, they cycle back through to make more cubes. I run mine 4 hours a day. When it’s full we empty the ice into our freezer for later. The cubes will melt quickly so they are best for whisky drinks or short glasses. ... show more
