Description

Hibiscus features solid, green foliage. The Hibiscus is great for large spaces. It does well in spaces that have full sun outdoors. Place Hibiscus in a spot that receives full sun outdoors. Water your plant about twice a week with approximately 2-3 cups and be sure all excess water drains away. Adjust as needed for your environment. Do not let the Hibiscus sit in water or overly soggy soil. The height at shipping is approximately 24-inches tall, measured from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant. The Hibiscus ships in a black, 10-inch grower pot. To help with water drainage, this container does have holes. The Hibiscus is a fast grower. Exact growth rate depends on the care provided and its environment. Give it a boost during the warm months of Spring and Summer with a general-purpose fertilizer that is formulated for potted plants. Follow the instructions on the fertilizer package for the best use. When the plant out grows the current container, it is time to repot. To repot the Hibiscus, gently remove it from its current container and place it into a slightly larger container. Fill in any empty spaces with new and fresh soil and water thoroughly. I ordered a plant with red flowers but received one with yellow flowers. The plant was not hardy and died within 1-2 months, despite being in a climate that hibiscus normally do well in. Tried to get customer support, but was denied any help. Disappointed, as this was a gift.

Seriously was not expecting much and was so pleasantly surprised by the size and health of this hibiscus tree! This was well over the height I ordered, full of greenery as well as big beautiful open blooms! The pot was wrapped in sedan plastic to hold contents in place and then the tree itself wrapped in paper within the thick cardboard it shipped in! There were a few broken little limbs but honestly less than if I had transported from a local nursery in my car! Plant is thriving, I will try to update with pictures once transplanted but I am WOWed and don’t think I’m off at all by describing this as 5 feet in height! I ordered two - both identieke description, but I will be ordering more because I am just in awe of the size, health, and even the color of the flowers! Yaaaaaaaaay! 😍 ... show more

I recently purchased a yellow Hibiscus from this company and it was a well grown plant with buds on them. The product was packaged very well and arrived in great shape. Super happy with it. The cost of $30 was a good and reasonable price. But I ordered what they called a starter plant from them, because I wanted red. It arrived with no information of what it was and who sent it. No directions for proper care. Nothing. This was the same company that sent me the yellow plant I was so pleased. I paid the same price and it came in as a stick with 5 limbs coming out. It was a small clone plant. It had a few leaves growing that looked healthier. I replanted to see how it comes out, but the price was not reasonable for what I received. ... show more
