I needed this ladder 15 painted rooms ago. Having the large step at the top is a game changer. No more sore feet. And I also like being able to lean forward at the top, if needed. Surprisingly lightweight, but very stable.

Very well built ladder. Feels sturdy all the way to the top step. But Cosco didn't stop there. They added "ladder stuff" I never thought about. A place for paint cans? Spots for replacement light bulbs? A hole to run an extension cord through? Screwdriver holders? A drill holder? A paper towel mount? A hidden drawer for small nuts, bolts and other things??? Yep, it is all there. BTW the hardware for attaching the top of the the ladder is located in a small compartment. Set the ladder up and look for the PUSH tab underneath the paint/tool tray. Pull it out and then push back the cover that says "THINK SAFETY". I tried uploading a pic but trust me, everything you need is in that little drawer area. ... show more

This is a wonderful ladder. It's sturdy but light. I'm a 68 yr old woman and I can handle it just fine. I like that it folds and locks closed. The hardest part was putting the top step on. A hint; if you stand on the first step while seating the top, it slides on much easier. Otherwise, I love it!
