This is a pretty nice stool - it folds more easily than an older model 2-step we use frequently. Steps are nice sized, although the first two steps are not as large as the top step. I headlined this stool as a lighter-weight stool because it's weight capacity is less that others I've had. Noticed it had some flex when a heavier appliance delivery person used it to reach the top of a refrigerator. It didn't appear to be a problem, but if you put close to or slightly more weight than it's rated for on it, might be a problem. Don't get me wrong, this ladder does its job. Its sturdy, it looks nice in your home when its folded, you feel safe when you are standing on it, and it even doubles as a chair in my home sometimes. Place skid protectors on the bottom of the legs. They are plastic and the ladder slides easily on non carpet floor. The ladder folds up. Does what it’s intended to do.
