Ordered this no expecting to use it more than once but boy was I surprised Ordered for an indoor paint job of an upstairs stairwell walls so I could use a ladder and this product worked as it should I could stabilize my ladder on stairs and got the job done, Then I used it for outdoors on unlevel grassy surface to paint some facia boards and I was able to stabilize my ladder once again using this product Also this can be used as a tool caddy, ladder jack, ladder shelf. Has non skid rubber grippers that worked great Glad I purchased this product

It's funny when you come across something after starting with a conversation like "I wish someone would make something that could..." and then someone else points out "But, they do! Look!". Then you run into something like this, buy it hoping that it is going to provide exactly what it claims and well look at that, it does! If you spend a lot of time working on homes (let it be at home, homes of family/friends, or professionally). You will want one of these. Given, if you are only working at home on projects once in a while, thus may not be the most affordable investment. However, we had a project here at the office which expanded to something we are going to do at a few of our homes. It was going to include LOT of stair situations with high roof points we need access to. This product is perfect for it. It really is built tough and seems to get the job done quite nicely. A comforting experience when you are that high on a ladder doing something in such an odd spot. Looking forward to getting more use out of it as it makes its way around to a few of the homes so we can duplicate things.

Very sturdy. Only concern is that it’s only has quite a small lip that sits on the top stair when used on stairs. That being said, it’s very not slip and didn’t move at all. Very good on a grass slope too.

Very sturdy, rubber grips are good and not cheap made, used it on garage roof 4/12 pitch with shingles, not sure about other materials such as metal or tile. Make sure your steps are very close to level on ladder u will be climbing and centered in ladder pivot, keep objects away from areas when stepping down, safety first. Price is good well built.

Not sure when I bought this if it would turn out to be a cheap, plastic flop. Just the reverse! It's very sturdy and well-made. The non-slip gripping surfaces work well, even on my slippery wood floor. It also holds the ladder feet well - I felt steady and balanced while on the ladder in my stairwell. The task was painting, especially edging where the wall and ceiling meet. I was able to concentrate on my painting while using the pivit tool and my 20-foot ladder. When I started, my husband stood next to the ladder in case it started slipping. After 5 minutes, we realized that I could carefully go up and down rungs and shift the paint can from one hand to the other...in other, normal movements one would need to make...without having any issues. After that, I felt confident not having a spotter. Obviously, you wouldn't want to jump up and down or try some of the Cirque du Soleil acts on the ladder unless you are a certified professional...but for your everyday person, this is an extremely handy tool. Well worth the price.

We have an odd shaped terrain around the house and the ladder is always a bit wobbly when trying to put up Christmas lights. We bought this and it worked perfectly. I have also used in on the roof to stabilize the ladder. It is a fantastic leveling device.
