Installed this weekend, took less than 10 minutes and was very easy. Look great. I was worried about the gray color as we had white before, but the gray does a better job of blocking out light and does not appear like a true gray color.

I should have ordered some of these years ago. I never knew how nice zebra shades are and affordable. They look fantastic and I can now decide how much light filtering I want versus my black out shades that only had two ways to use .. up or down... They look fantastic from the outside and super functional, they block and filter light perfectly suited to your own taste. They are very easy to adjust gliding like butter and feel durable. The fit was perfect on my windows and installation was pretty simple and easy. Didn't take long. I got two of them. One for 50 inches and another for 54 inches. I bought six for my main windows and might consider adding a few more now that I love them.

The media could not be loaded. I ordered these to replace broken blinds above our kitchen sink. I rent, so I'm not really familiar with replacing blinds. $40 seems reasonable since these are not your average blinds. I measured the window (glass) at a hair wider than 35" and ordered 35x72 since I intended to hang them inside from the top pane (vs outside on the wall). I was delighted to see it fits perfect. My handy man installed and said the instructions weren't superb, but he managed with a YouTube video he found. I like that it slides super smoothly and requires minimal effort to raise or lower. I love that I can space it to let light in without completely opening. I've never had zebra blinds before but I think this would be perfect for an entryway door, etc. I'm not sure if you can adjust the blinds so that they line up closed when lowered the full length of the window, but that would be cool. Didn't wanna push my luck by asking the hubby. Shipped fast. Packaged well. Awesome product!!
