I love this little powerhouse. It tills great. If you till up a weedy place , you have to untangle the weeds from the tines periodically but this happens with big ones also. It tilled up my husbands raised bed easily. I love it getting in small spaces in my flower garden. The battery lasts about an hour of constant use. I have 2 batteries and can switch them out easily. Also it doesn't take up a lot of room in my storeage area.

This unit is very powerful, more power than the 110 volt electric units I've used. I attached a 4 amp DeWalt battery and was more than impressed. I cultivated about a 3' x 60' area of good soil and am very happy with my purchase. When I opened the box I was surprised at the weight, it has a very heavy motor which equates to more windings, which equates to a powerful motor. I recommend this for anyone wanting to cultivate. I also like that it uses DeWalt batteries and not it's own proprietary batteries, interchangeability is good.

I would give this Garden Cultivator (roto-tiller) 4 stars -- even though it does what is advertised - - because it does on rare occasion refuse to unlock the trigger and stop, but it is a 5 star piece of machinery to me I saw another review that mentioned that, but I decided to chance it anyway. I have lent it to two other friends who have had no issues with it, and I myself have experienced it only once or twice, and it is really just an inconvenience. It is a pleasure to use it in areas where there is very little room to maneuver, compared to a full-sized roto-tiller, especially in a raised bed. I hope its mechanical parts endure, and if so, I will be satisfied with the money I spent on it. It is very easy on my Dewalt batteries, and will last for more than an hour on a 5 mAh battery without slowing down. It is easy to clear out tangled roots from its tines, and very easy to carry around because of its reduced size. Assembly consists of putting together the shaft/handle which is in two pieces.

Very nice tiller and we garden 5 acres. We got it to till in the hoop houses and between plants in the garden. in wide beds. Powerful little beast! It works well and isn't too heavy. Although it does not come with a battery or charger, it works well with our DeWalt batteries/chargers we already have.,

Good buy. Use in garden for light cultivation but especially good for hilling. Weight distribution is good for this but wheel kit would be nice for some applications. 6 AH battery lasts hours. Probably wouldn’t have gotten without brand-name battery compatibility. Works well for my uses.
