This is my first rotary hammer drill, and it is amazing! I have only used it ONCE and don't usually like to submit a review after one use, but I am excited about it. The drill works every bit as good as a large electric drill I have used. The ease that this drilled into rock was superb! That will be my primary (and perhaps only) use of this drill is to turn big rocks into little rocks. This drill is exceptionally precise and powerful! It quickly made a beautiful hole in a river rock stone above my fireplace (for TV mounting) that my DeWalt hammer drill was having a hard time even scratching! Just make sure you have SDSPlus drill bits.

I hemmed and hawed about buying one of these for almost a year. It was about $70 less on Amazon than Home Depot so I finally pulled the trigger. And I’m glad I did. I have a Milwaukee cordless hammer drill as well. This thing absolutely smokes it. You can’t even compare it, it’s that much better in hammer applications. Works best with the bigger battery but I’ve used it with a bigger, knockoff battery and it’s still effing awesome. Only had it a few months, so I can’t speak to its longevity as of yet. But for drilling concrete, it’s perfect. Definitely heavy with the bigger battery but man up and you’ll be fine. ... show more
